It was close to Halloween and Ginny was trying to scare her mom but she failed. "I think I finally cracked the perfect Halloween movie marathon. Scream, Black Swan, and The Shining."
Taking a bite of the bacon, Florence watched the interaction. "You know I actually never seen The Shining."
Ginny turned to Florence with an offensive gasp, pointing her hand flat upside down towards her. "See this is why we have to do the movie marathon." Ginny started talking more about Halloween movies but noticed that Georgia wasn't talking back like she usually would, she was quiet.
Florence turned around with bacon in her hand, she nodded hi to Austin, he had ended up scaring the other two who were still turned around.
The lights started buzzing in the kitchen, Ginny looked up at them. "What's that? The lights have been doing that all morning."
Finishing the bacon, Florence let her facial expression become serious. "It's the ghost of the previous owners who used to live here long long ago. They were murdered in an unfortunate accident during Halloween."
"Mom, is the house haunted?" Austin asked Georgia, believing Florence's words. She was quiet for a bit, Georgia was facing the stove. "Mom is it-"
"Yes! Ah ha" Georgia quickly turned around, scaring Austin. She gave the kids their breakfast.
Ginny brought up her mom's date with Paul while Georgia redirected the attention to her daughter, bringing up how Ginny was nervous to meet Hunter's parents for the first time. The two of them then went quiet and when Florence realized it was quiet she slowly looked up to see them staring at her. "Oh hi" She awkwardly spoke to them with a nervous smile.
Georgia had a smile while raising a brow at her. "How about you Florence? We've been here for a while but I still haven't heard anything about your love life."
Florence glanced at Ginny and when they made eye contact Ginny gave her a confused look with realization. "I swear it better not be Max. You know she's into someone now. You cannot be into my best friend, I'll literally kill you."
"No, no, relax" Florence immediately shook her head. "I do not like Max."
Ginny was quiet, scanning Florence's face, thinking. "Then who?" She pointed at Florence with a fork while Georgia was eating and watching this scene, she was enjoying it. "I know that look Florence."
Florence took a bite of her toasted bread while looking up at the corner ceiling, not meeting Ginny's eyes. "I may have gotten a bit close with...well...you know...Abby."
