Chapter 25

Present Day

I woke the next morning with a killer headache and so many notifications on my phone; most of them were from photos I'd been tagged in on Instagram. I saved a couple nice ones including one that Kevin had somehow taken of us all just as we were entering the club captioning it with '@amberhatesyou 's birthday celebrations just beginning, cheers to tonight's shenanigans!' He had tagged everyone in it too. I looked behind me and saw Craig fast asleep he looked adorable; I reached for my underwear a pair of sweatpants and one of Craig's shirts and carefully walked out to the main lounge.

We had reached the venue not that long ago I decided to go out for a walk which was something I didn't normally do but I was bored and being cramped up on a bus constantly did take its toll on you. I wasn't really walking anywhere in particular that was until someone caught my eye. I had a feeling I recognized them but I couldn't put my finger on it, I stopped walking for a second and just watched them, whoever it was kept glancing about their surroundings as if they were looking for something, or someone.

"You kind of look gormed out Amber." Andy said stepping in front of me snapping his fingers in my face.

"Sorry I thought... It doesn't matter, how are you this fine morning?" I asked quickly changing the subject.

"Surprisingly good considering how much I drank last night however, I can't say the same for Jake CC or Ashley though. The three of them would probably sleep for the next week if they could." He chuckled.

"You'd think with the amount they all drink and how often they drink that they'd be used to it by now?"

"I know but some people never learn." He said, I saw him look toward my neck and he raised his eyebrow "no need to guess what you and Craig got up to last night." I blushed.  "Anyways who were you looking at anyway?" He asked, I looked over Andy's shoulder and saw the person stood still they quickly whipped their head round in my direction, something about him made me recognize him but I couldn’t put my finger on who it was, Andy followed my gaze and he saw the guy too who was now staring at us. "Wasn't he the guy from the kick-off party?"

"The one who kept staring at me? Yeah but I recognize him from somewhere else." I muttered.

“Well you see a lot of people in this job its probably from that.” He suggested.

"The fuck is he doing here?" Andy shrugged but kept his gaze on the guy who began to walk toward us. "Shit Andy he's coming over here." I muttered even though I knew the guy couldn't hear me I didn't want to run the risk.

"Who's coming over here?" I heard Craig ask from behind me, he had wrapped his arms around my waist and was kissing the crook of my neck.

"The creepy guy from the kick-off party." Craig looked toward the guy who was coming toward us; he could sense my unease and pulled me closer to his body just slightly tightening his hold on me. The guy finally reached us and stood there staring at me for a few minutes, I felt so uneasy I kept looking in every other direction except for his, he looked so god dam familiar! I heard Craig cough to break the silence.

"Hey dude-" Craig began but before he could say anything else, Andy butted in.

"What do you want?" I swear his voice got even deeper than usual; the guy finally lifted his stare from me and glanced up at Andy.

"A photo with Amber." He said simply, that voice, where had I heard it before?! Andy stepped back and gestured for the guy to continue, he looked back at me again with a wired look in his eye I couldn't quite tell what sort of a look it was but it was freaky. I think the guy was waiting for Craig to let go of me but I knew he'd be waiting a long while.

"Well do you want to take the photo?" I asked. He snapped out of his trance and nodded smiling; he took the photo and hugged me, lingering for a few seconds.

When he didn't let go straight away, Craig kissed my cheek and said loud enough for the guy to hear. "Well we best be going now babe your brother will be wondering where you are." He put emphases on brother as if to say to the guy 'if you carry on touching her, not only will you have me to deal with, but her brother too.' The guy finally let go and walked off slowly, I lost sight of him after a few minutes.

"Well that has to go down as the most frightful experience of my life." I shuddered, I heard Craig chuckle.

"Don't worry babe you have people who'll kick his ass if he tries anything, especially me."

"And me." Andy added.

"It's nice to know that I'm looked after." I said smiling. Not long after Andy had to leave because BVB's set time had been moved forward so Craig and I decided to head back to the bus to say goodbye to Ronnie.
