"So how's everything with the baby been then?" Katie asked Craig and I as we sat on a couple chairs that were in her room, Leila sat on my lap as there were only two chairs.

"Good actually, still kicking a lot and keeping me awake but good." I told Katie who smiled warmly.

"Well then let's have a look at your baby." She beamed at Craig and me before guiding us to the bed in the corner of the room. I lay down on it and lifted my shirt up so Katie could put the gel on my stomach. Craig took the seat next to the bed and held onto my hand; Leila sat on his lap and watched intensely.

"Why is that jelly stuff on Amber's tummy?" Leila asked innocently.

"It's so we can see the baby." Katie answered, I could tell Leila still didn't really get it but she didn't question it any further and eyed the monitor waiting for something to pop up. Katie rolled the wand over my stomach for a few seconds before stopping, the unborn picture of Craig and my child appeared on the monitor screen.

"Whoa!" Leila exclaimed in amazement. "Is that my little brother or sister?"

"It sure is Lei." Craig said kissing her cheek and squeezing my hand.

"That's so cool!"

"Do you wanna see something else?" Katie asked; Leila nodded eagerly. "Listen closely." Katie said before the clear sound of the baby's heartbeat filled the room, I felt the tears well up in my eyes; I looked over to Craig who was beaming.

"What's that?" Leila asked the look of astonishment never leaving her face.

"That's your little brother or sister's heartbeat." I told her, she looked even more amazed.

"Do you want to know the sex of your baby now?" Katie asked Craig and me. We both nodded eagerly, dying to know what we were expecting. "Well by the looks of things." She began. "Congratulations you're having a boy!" I was so excited, my brother's prediction had been right all this time. Craig looked ecstatic and Leila was cheering. "I'll print off these scan pictures and then you can go but one more thing, it's probably best for you to stay close to home now Mr. Mabbitt as the due date could literally be anywhere between now and the end of January."

"Well we did have a UK tour coming up in a couple of weeks but we'll have to cancel." Craig said.

"Yeah it's probably for the best for you to stay home with your girlfriend for now." Katie replied. We thanked her as she handed us the scan pictures before leaving the hospital. Craig interlaced our fingers together and let out a happy sigh.

"Were having a baby boy!" He whispered happily.

"I'm so excited." I grinned standing on my tiptoes and kissed his lightly.

"Ewww!" Leila cried from in front of us causing Craig and I to burst out into laughter.
