y/n just stood next to me with her glowing, blushed cheeks. her hands stuffed in her pocket with her ( y/e/c ) staring straight ahead, i don't think she ever forgave me but at least she wanted to come by and not just shut my face out.

i took a turn to the park, quickly. y/n sorta sped chased me there where we found ourselves just laying on the grass, well y/n only sat up with her legs closed. my arms rested behind my head with the cigarette dangling from my mouth, i could tell she tried not to let out a gag from the smell.

"why'd you leave?" i started, looking up at her.

"i thought you wanted to talk, not ask questions." she said coldly.

"y/n, i was down for months after you left." i remarked those days, the days where i would cry over two things; my parents and y/n. "you didn't even tell us you were just leaving the gang, you basically distanced yourself from us where you went off and hung out with bob she,don and randy anderson."

"listen curtis, if you wanna know why i left then your eyes could definitely picture the moment itself!" she then stood up and started walking.

i was fast enough to stop by the elbow, "what do you mean my eyes can picture the moment, what moment?!"

"oh don't play dumb, pony." she scoffed. "after i introduced cherry to you, as a friend, you went ahead and started spending with her, does that ring a bell? oh and that one time i caught you macking on her, i definitely won't forget that one time."

"for god's sake listen to yourself, y/n! that was just for spin the bottle, and besides, what part of it do you even care about?!" i asked in disbelief. "you know, you're just wrapped in your own world where you think absolutely everything is about you, well it's not!"

"i never said that, you just stop being such a d-"

"if you could do the whole world a favor and stop being a bitch, then i think this world would be a better place!" i blurted, she looked at me with a jaw dropping moment.

y/n broke out into tears where she ran down the street, it was too dark to see her go any fast so i turned and made my way home. i was thinking of taking this opportunity to settle things with her but instead told her off, in such a way i didn't want to.

i opened the door to see that everyone must've resumed the party without me, they all just stared at me as they stopped doing what they were doing, soda tried looking behind me to see if y/n was still there.

"where's y/n?" darry asked.

"she ran." i simply say.

"she what?!" two-bit and steve yelled simultaneously.

"i accidentally told her off and she ran off in tears." i explained.

"attaboy!" dally exclaimed.

"dally." johnny whispered.

"i can't do this, i'm going to bed, have fun with your stupid party." i said before shutting the door.
