🟢 Fanfiction [Markhyuck]

No one expected Donghyuck to cry over such a small thing. No one especially expected Donghyuck to cry while reading something on his phone. And no one especially expected Donghyuck to be reading. You may be thinking he's reading a hate comment-

Thankfully- that was not the case. But what could Donghyuck be reading that could make him cry? Well- wouldn't you like to know? "WHAAAA~ WHY DID IT HAVE TO END LIKE THIS?" Donghyuck exclaimed, burying his head on his pillow as he cries.

"MARK LEE! WHY DID YOU HAVE TO DIE?" Donghyuck weeps. No- Mark wasn't actually dead, alright? It was a part of a book Donghyuck was reading. You guessed that right- Donghyuck was reading fanfiction and that's why he's balling his eyes out.

He was just scrolling through twitter when all of a sudden, he came across some people talking about this thing called Wattpad and an author named Chogiwanese. (A/N: I miss her 😔) Being the curious bean he is, he downloaded the app and searched for the author.

He was quite shocked to see a bunch of books shipping his different members together but he wasn't disgusted. In fact- he kinda agreed to the ships the author put. He has already read Babysitter (Norenmin), Show (Yuwin) and Secret (Jaeyong), when a book caught his attention.

'Markhyuck?' The sun-kissed male thought. Wasn't this his and Mark's ship name? Out of curiosity, the boy clicked on the book and started to read it. 'Mr. Daddy? The title is quite something but oh well-' Did Haechan regret reading it? Hell no-

The boy wanted more. He wanted to see the fans's creativity when it comes to making an alternate universe where he and Mark get together and perhaps start a family. "Oh- another one!" Donghyuck exclaimed when he saw the book Baby Chan.

He spent 2 full hours reading that one book before he took a break from looking at his phone and the overwhelming feeling he felt as he imagined all of the things written in that book coming true. "One last-" He says to himself. "One last then I'll sleep.."

Well- that 'one last' book he read just had to be Thief. And that's how we ended up with Donghyuck- NCT's sunshine, crying his eyes out because Mark died, leaving 'him' with Chan alone. "Why did it end like this?" Donghyuck complained.

"At least I- well the Donghyuck in the book had Jeno but still! I can't imagine a world without Mork..." Donghyuck gasped at himself. "Do I-" 'Do I like Mark hyung?' No- he couldn't... He was just caught up with all of his emotions because of the books he just read.

"Yeah.. That's it... Of course I don't like him like that- what was I thinking?' Donghyuck laughed at himself before wiping off the tears that were left in his eyes. "Maybe just-" "Oh- Hyuck? Why are you still awake?" Haechan jumped and stared at the door in shock.

Great- just the person he didn't want to see. "O- oh, hey- Markie.... What are you doing here?" Donghyuck added an unconvincing laugh. Mark raised his eyebrow at the boy. "I was just up writing lyrics.... I'mma ask you again, why are you still awake?"

Donghyuck's eyes widened. What should he say? Obviously- he couldn't tell the Canadian the truth. How do you think Mark would react if he says 'Oh- I was up reading and crying about some fanfictions the fans wrote about us!'

"I was just about to sleep!" Donghyuck says instead of the truth. "Now- please leave my room so that I could sleep peacefully." Donghyuck got up from his bed and push the older out of his room. The older Canadian boy was quite confused with the younger's actions.

"Good night, Marker~" Was the last thing Haechan said before slamming the door. He didn't even give Mark time to say anything or comprehend what just happened. 'Gosh- that was a doozy...' The sun-kissed boy sighed. "Time to read more fanfics!"
