evening came and all layers and managers of the bighit law firm were sitting at a big table near the bar of a restaurant. next to sooyoung on her right was jungkook and on her left was jimin who insisted to sit in between sooyoung and namjoon since he knew no body. 

jungkooks mood has been down since lunch, when he was interrupted by jimin during his confession. stressed, he gulped half of his jug of beer in one go, taking sooyoungs attention. 

after she understood why, she just smiled and looked at her lap, trying not to laugh at his childishness. as she was about to whisper something to him, she was interrupted by one of the new interns, giyeon "oh okay lets play a game. lets go around the table and state if you are in a relationship or not!" giyeon spoke as he was replied to with cheers and shouts. "OK OK, lets start with our boss-nims, Hoseok-shi?" giyeon asked "ah no, I am as single as they come" jhope only shook his hands while sipping his beer sadly "sorry he gets like this when he drinks" yoongi defended hoseoks actions "how about you yoongi-shi?" giyeon asked "ah, as you manage so many businesses, it doesn't allow much time for leisure" the others nodded at his words 

"okay how about you namjoon hyung?" giyeon asked "ah no, im single too" he proudly stated, side glancing at jimin to see his reaction, and jimin for one, was thrilled. "oh and what about you-uhm" giyeon didn't know jimins name yet and now the whole table looked at him, confused why he was here "ah this is park jimin, sooyoungs childhood friend. he was just passing by so I invited him" namjoon came to save jimin, making him fall more "hope thats okay" the others nodded as jimin stood up and bowed "oh uhm hi im park jimin. I dont know if I should participate but uh, im not in any relationships" he sat back down as the others nodded. 

"okay now sooyoung-shi, are you in a relationship?" giyeon grinned more when it came to sooyoungs turn. he wanted to know if she was off limits or not. jungkook realised why giyeon started this game and sighed, loud enough for sooyoung to hear. as she looked at jungkooks direction she realised, why was she waiting? they had time to grow, develop, and now that things are good, what is she still doing with out him? 

"ahh, yes, im in a relationship" she spoke, shyly. the table was shocked "wahh really?" giyeon asked, a bit bummed out "congratulations sooyoung-ah!" jisoo spoke, giving her a thumbs up. 

jungkook was confused, is this why she didn't say anything? because she was taken? as he was getting more and more smaller in this big room he felt something on his hand. slowly, sooyoung  held jungkook's hand under the table so no one could see. intertwining their hands together, sooyoung only smiled at jungkook while he looked back stunned. the table was a chaos as they were screaming congrats for sooyoung so no one noticed the lovely looks between them. jungkook didn't need to ask for her answer as he realised, this was her way of saying yes. he sighed a big sigh of relief and looked down at their hands which were sitting on her lap. squeezing her hands, he looked up at the table where he was met with a gaze from another temp named miso. 

"okay now lets continue" she mumbled "jungkook-shi, are you perhaps dating somebody?" she asked, batting her eyes making herself look 'cute' while sooyoung was scared. why is she blinking so much? omg is she using morse code? 

focused on miso's blinking, sooyoung didn't realise when jungkook answered "uhm yes, im in a relationship" he said happily as half of the table was celebrating while some, to be more specific, some desperate women, sighed and drank their drinks. 

jungkook just smiled more and looked at sooyoung, who mirrored his expressions, sending waves of electricity to his stomach creating butterflies. 

as the night ended, everyone slowly left the bar, a bit buzzed "make sure to come to work tomorrow, this is no exception!" yoongi scolded, making the others whine "ok sir!" jisoo slurs, a bit too wasted 

"which way are you going?" miso asks jungkook who stood about 3 feet away from sooyoung at that point. he looked at her, wanting to talk, and sooyoung got the message "a-ah" she butted in "jungkook-shi, dont you live near me?" sooyoung acted innocent, watching jungkooks smile paint his face and a frown painting miso's "ah yes yes, lets go together then?" sooyoung nodded and waved the others off. "OK BYE. THANK YOU FOR THE MEAL!!!" sooyoung screamed, making everyone else chuckle "fuck, why is she taken, she is perfect" namhyun whined as everyone just laughed at him "pack it up" hoseok yelled as everyone bid goodbyes and left, yelling some thank you's. 

"want me to take you home?" namjoon asked jimin, who stood there casually "oh, uhm, its okay I can walk" jimin shook his hands, "nonsense, im taking you home" namjoon held one of jimins wrists, pulling him to his ca- oh. he can't drive "oh uhm..." namjoon froze "I can't drive..." jimin muffled a laugh, but let it out when he saw namjoon look helplessly cute "ahhhahhhah, lets just walk" jimin spoke as he wiped his tears off his cheeks, from laughing so much. 

"im really helping the environment if you look at it" namjoon argued back "sure sure" jimin just giggled while walking a step ahead as namjoon admired him, and his cute personality.
