"why do you cause me so much pain?" 

jungkook asked as he felt sooyoung stand next to him 

"what?" she asked him, a bit confused. 

"you literally let that stupid boyfriend of yours take you away from us for 2 years and then now your leaving for another 5? why?" he asked, a bit desperately while she just looked at him with a puzzled expression "wait what?" she asked 

"you think I left because of him?" she asked jungkook when he just nodded "hah!" she let out a sarcastic laugh "IT WAS YOU" she yelled, losing patience "you started ignoring me and treating me like an outlier for NO REASON!" jungkook looked at her with the same fury she had in her eyes. "jin was always nice to you, why were you so rude to him?" she asked, quietly not understanding that concept. 

"why are you defending him still? are you still in love with him?" he asked, a bit rudely then expected "what" she asked even more confused now "you think I still love jin? after a YEAR?" she was so frustrated she didn't even realise how close she had stepped to jungkook, trying to appear more dominant. "what is your problem, how dense are you really? he left me because we weren't on the same page. now I dont need one of my best friends to not be on the same page as me again!" she scolded him while all he heard was 'best friend' 

sadly chuckling he answered back "best friend? you always hurt me noona. all the time" jungkook spoke as he looked over at her. 

sooyoung just scoffed at that and looked at him with an angered look "you think I hurt you? ME? you called me a slut and an easy whore??! you insulted me and my boyfriend! you hurt me!" she yelled, a bit over his logic. 

"what happened to you?"she asked "why do you hate me so much" she asked a bit sadder "I dont hate you noona!" jungkook shouted this, scaring her a little "you're just- ugh, you're just-"

 "we need to talk jungkook?" she said a bit calmer, cutting him off "we need to talk we can express our feelings, not keep them bottled up" she said as she sat down next to him slowly, but shook when he stood up abruptly. 

"NOONA PLEASE" he yelled "you have no idea how hard it is to see someone" he looked deep into her eyes "someone you love, fall in love with someone else" sooyoung stopped moving for a bit. 

"watching your love hold hands and stare at someone with the same admiration that you stare at them with. I was 15 noona. trying so hard to win you. I should have realised, you were just like other girls, liking the older and treating youngers as trash-" he got cut off when sooyoung loudly sighed "jungkook what the fuck? what other girls?!" she was stressed. this was becoming more and more scary. jungkook confessing made her realise she wasn't alone, yet his reasoning was useless "you son of a bitch did you know your the reason why jin and I broke up?" she spoke with a straight voice, jungkook looked shocked at her reply "he saw the way you looked at me and how I looked at you" she whispered the last part subconsciously while jungkook just widened his eyes "you like me-" "'I fucking love you!" she yelled. 

the world stopped moving as he moved back "no" he shook his head in disbelief "since when?" "since you were 15. which is why I dated jin, to take you out of my head" she confessed. 

jungkook tried to stand near her, this whole situation had flipped from an argument to a confession. when he stepped forward, his face fell when sooyoung stepped back "no" she whispered while shaking her head. "why?" jungkook asked, scared "im not going to let you easily come back when you insulted me so much. you degraded me into a pile of shit jungkook" she spoke "you made me believe it was all my fault. I blamed myself for everything. when we talked, you called me names, you're not going to come back this easy" she shook her head "cry as much as I did" that was the last thing she said as she ran back home, away. 

that night jungkook broke, he was the one who caused pain, not her. if only he had talked to her, we would be in a different situation. he made his way back to his house, not wanting to piss her off more. 

 while sooyoung thought she was too rough on the kid, but she didn't care. she came back home and snuggled in with hoyeon, crying silently. she couldn't believe she really confessed and yelled at jungkook. it was a rough night, for both of them. 

2 weeks later, day of departure 

the day came, she was scared to go away, but knew she had a great support system from here. of course, excluding jungkook for now.

they hadn't talked since the fight and it was the best thing for them, she didn't want to get more attached as she left. as she was going to leave to get on her plane, she whispered sweet goodbyes to all her friends and the jeon parents. starting with the parents, to hoyeon, taehyung, jimin and then jungkook. not knowing what to do, she froze a little. jungkook saw her stand in front of her and jumped on her, hugging the life out of her. sooyoung was shocked. jeon jungkook never forfeited first, this was new. she hugged him back tighter as he spoke "dont skip meals, be safe, and come back soon" she nodded and said final goodbyes to everyone. not wanting to cry in front of them, she quickly boarded her plane, without looking back.
