The struggles of jennie kim

- in which everytime jennie tries to confess her feelings to jisoo, there's always something getting in the way.

For 3 years, jennie has always looked at jisoo differently. Not in the bad way, more on the romantic way. She has been liking, even loving jisoo romantically for 3 years. Since they were 15.

Jisoo was her best friend, the one call away, if jennie ends up murdering someone jisoo will be there to help her without hesitation. That's how close they are.

She's so scared to confess, so scared to tell jisoo what she feels cause firstly, what if she finds it awkward? What if jisoo ends their friendship? Jennie didn't want that.

"So, Saturday night? Are you free jen?" Jennie closed her locker, looking at her side and sighs. "I-i'm not sure"

"It's due on tuesday, jennie. When are you fre--

"Hey jendeuki" they suddenly heard, turning their head around and saw jisoo who was skipping to jennie and quickly wrapped her arms around the girl.

"What are you two talking about?" She asks, placing her arm around jennies shoulder as she looks at rosé.

Rosé chuckles a little, "a project due on tuesday" jisoo nods and pressed her lips together. "What is it? When will you do it?"

"On Saturday but Jennie's busy--

"You are?" Jisoo asks, looking at the girl who was besides her.

"It's Saturday, it's our day chu" a smile form on jisoos face when she heard jennies excuse. "It's fine, you can do your project. There's still next week"

"But--

"No buts jen, you do your project. Priorities" jennie rolls her eyes, sighing but still nodded her head.

Priorities. She said in her mind sarcastically, for all she knows jisoo is her priority.

"Great, so Saturday? I'll call you jendeuk--

"Hey no! Mine. My nickname" jisoo glares at rosé as she protective pulled jennie close to her.

The younger one laughs, "right." She nods, and looks at jennie at the side, seeing her blushing a little. "So, Saturday?" Jennie nods and smile.

"Alright. Now can i borrow my best friend? I'm hungry" jisoo whines, making rosé chuckle again.

"Sure, lisa is also searching for me anyway. See you jen" rosé bids goodbye, jennie bidded goodbye back.

"You know, you should stop people when they call you jendeuki" jisoo suggested making jennie look at her as they walk.

She chuckles and shakes her head, "it's just a nickname"

Jisoo gasped and pulled away from her, glaring. "Just a nickname?! I made that for you! I don't even let others call me chu" she glares at the girl.

Seriously, how can jennie not fall for her? Just the way that jisoo was acting, they'll look like a couple.

"Fine, alright, kim jisoo. Now can we eat?" Jennie asks, jisoo frowns and shakes her head.

"If you say so" the younger one shrugged and started walking away.

"Seriously jennie kim?!" Jisoo shouts, running after the girl as she quickly hold her hand, pulling her to the other way.
