We Could Die

- imagine confessing to the girl of your dreams, asking her out for a date. But your doing it in a mission in which you could die, you don't need to imagine it because jisoo already have done it.

Jisoo walked inside the precinct with her badge in her chest and coffee in her hand. It was 7 am, the sun was shining brightly and everyone was still sleepy.

She smiled at the view of her co-worker also partner in crime lisa, with her girlfriend rosé who works as the secretary of the captain, capt. Irene.

Jisoo sat down on her desk, placing her coffee to the side and looked at her computer.

She bend her head a little looking at the side to see a view of jennies table in front of her.

Jennie kim, the girl jisoo has been dreaming of. They started being competitive at each other at first, being who's the best detective and everything.

But as time passes by, the would be partners in some crime or missions and they would get along.

Jisoo started liking the girl when they were out all night, looking for suspects or leads to close the case they've been solving.

They were laughing and playing games that night and it was the first time jisoo saw her smile widely, with jisoo thinking it was the best smile she has ever seen.

Now she has completely fallen for the girl, and doesn't know how to tell her. Thinking she would get dump and it will be weird and awkward, like come on. Who would date a co-worker plus their jobs are dangerous.

"kim, can i see you inside my office?" Capt. Irene said, removing her glasses in her eyes. Jennie nodded and went inside.

Jisoo sighed, she knows how much jennie adored their captain so much. Jennie would often ask about advice or give her a gift. Jisoo knows its not in a romantic way, irene was married and jennie just look up to her.

"you okay there kim?" lisa suddenly said placing a big crap folder in jisoos table making her flinch.

"im fine Lisa, whats with this?" jisoo said as she sat up and opened the folder. Lisa smiled widely and answered.

"a big drug case, people in other precinct has been solving it finding out whos the suspect. But whenever they find leads, it would just be dead end" lisa said and sat on jisoos table as jisoo read every piece of paper.

"you think we could solve it?" jisoo said looking up at lisa, making lisa smirk

"come on, were lisoo. Were the best!" lisa and making jisoo laugh.

They chatted and started reading every piece of paper, looking roughly at the evidences thinking it will give them leads.

Jisoo doesn't even noticed that jennie was done talking to their captain and already proceeded with her work.

"captain, phone call for you" rosé said and gave irene the phone after irene was done talking she gave it back to rosé and placed her glasses back.

"Manoban and kim" irene said making lisa and jisoo look at her but not just them also jennie with the word kim.

"A team from precinct 99 will also help you with your case and also miss jennie kim" irene said and headed back to her office.

"come on! We could totally solve the crap out of this" lisa said crossing her arms against her chest.

"more help means its serious lisa, like big BIG" jisoo said making lisa roll her eyes.
