Days, weeks, months has passed but jennies mind was still at that exact moment.
She saw an alien. She saw it with her two eyes.
But what she thought about it was different. It wasn't evil, nor a monster.
It was just like her, a defense less creature who was scared to be hurt. She won't hurt it back anyway, she just wanted to know why pretend to be a human.
Why copy the identity of the dead girl.
"jisoo" she breathes out again as she stares blankly at the space in her room. holding another book that shares things about aliens.
She eyes her window again, standing up slowly, the memory flashing back in her mind.
How the yellow creature looked so scared of her and begged to not hurt her, how it can change to a human within seconds by just spinning around.
She breathes out, turning around and placed her book on her table, going out of her room as she goes to that place again.
The football field.
She rushly ran downstairs making her mother heard her, looking at her daughter who grabs the jacket that was hanging next to the door.
"jennie" she calls her out, the teenage girl stopped her movements and looks at her mother.
"where are you going?" jennie pressed her lips together, "somewhere" she shrugs.
Her mother sighs and just nods, letting her daughter do what she wants. "just be safe, alright?" jennie smiles a little and nods.
she was about to open the door again but her mother went closer to her and suddenly hugged her, making her confused "uhh mom"
"I'm sorry" her mother pulls back, "it'll be your birthday next month" she smiles, jennie just nods not interested in it.
"you should think what you want for a gift, mom will buy it for you" her mother chuckles slightly as she saw how jennie suddenly had a huge smile on her face. The girl has been wanting something for a while now, it was another book but she remembers it costs too much making her smile drop.
her mother's eyebrow furrowed confused when she noticed it, "you can ask me anything, sweetie" jennie bit her bottom lip, debating in her mind if she should say it or not.
If she would her mother won't buy it for her anyway, it's about her Interests again. She sighs and just shakes her head, "i have nothing" she says.
Her mother looks at her, she knows her daughter well, the girl came out of her. "Honey, even if it's about aliens it's alright. I will buy it for you." jennie suddenly looks at her with widen eyes, not believing it.
"but dad--"
"don't worry about your father. How about we go to the mall next week? So i can buy it for you" jennie smiles genuinely wide and nods excitingly.
"thanks mom! love you" she hugs her mother tightly before going out of their house.
Her mom smiles. That's all she wanted, her daughter knowing she's always be in her side. That she's willing to know jennie's interest in Aliens.

Jennie went back to the football field. It was an abandoned place since years ago. Maybe that's why the alien goes there, no human will see her.
She sat in the bleachers, patiently waiting for the yellow creature to go there again.
She has been doing anything she could do for herself to not be bored, she ran around the place, did jumping jacks, already tried sleeping at the seat but the alien didn't show up.
