"Hey Dre, I need to see you when you get a chance." Will said. "Okay, give me a sec." I smiled setting down my stuff. "Hey!" Ally said coming through the door. "Hey, look at you!" I gushed as her baby bump was showing. "I know! Cam can't stop talking to my stomach. He is so excited about a sibling." She smiled. " I bet. You're glowing." I smiled. "Lunch?" She asked. "Yeah we can decide what in a little bit. Boss man needs to see me." I said. "Okay!"
"Hey, how is everything?" Will asked. "Good, did Jada enjoy her Jay day?" I giggled. Will gave me a look, "thank god were too old to have kids because he was giving her baby fever." He laughed. "What's going on?" I asked relaxing back into my chair. Will got up and closed the door. "Uh oh." I said. "No it's all good, just none of anyone else's business. And we need to discuss some serious business." He said sitting down. "First here is this." He said handing me a check. I turned it over and my jaw dropped. "Is this like your fired this is your last check type check? This isn't even my weekly check usually is??" I said confused. "Do you know how many hit songs you wrote in the passed 6 months?" He asked. I shook my head, "I dont , I usually keeps tabs on that stuff but between Michael and Jay I haven't." I said confused. "6." He said. "What?!" I asked. "You've wrote one every month. You had two in one month. That is a bonus that me and the board agreed upon. You brought in some serious business even though life has kicked your ass. I'm proud of you." He said. Of course I had tears in my eyes. "Stop." He laughed. "Thank you." I sniffled. "2nd. I am seriously thinking about selling half my share of the business." He stated. "What? Why?" I asked surprised. "I am too old to be running this place. I love being here when I have time and feel like it. Michael does a fantastic job helping but Sometimes he needs a break. He needs to have free time to be with his family and keep himself in good health." He stated. I nodded. "Have you put it up for sale yet?" I asked nervous. "Nope because I know exactly who I want to take it. I won't be necessarily selling it. I am giving it to someone who I know will make back what I am giving them." He said. "Who?" I asked. "Wesley." He said. Now I'm really confused. "I thought Wesley already owned part of it?" I asked. "Technically no, only Michael does. Wesley and trey followed him here with promised employment. Wesley acts like he does, he runs this place when Michael and I are gone with your help." He stated. "Oh. I definitely think that's a great choice. There's no one else I could even think of." I smiled. "Good, another thing. Noah." He smirk making me laugh. "How long we going to play this out?" He asked. "Till Michael comes back, I have to see what happens when he goes into michaels office complaining about me. Please!" I laughed. "Okay okay," he laughed. "When is he coming home?" Will asked. "In 5 weeks. We're almost done." I smiled. "Honestly, how is he doing?" He asked curious. "Really good. I feel like he's doing better than before he even started using. I think this therapy really opened him up. He's nervous about coming back." I said. Will waved his hand like it isn't a big deal, "the only people that actually knows what happened is us, ally Wesley trey and drake. Everyone else thinks he is in a different country scouting new talent." He laughed. "Good." I smiled. "Should we do a welcome home party?" He asked curious. "Oh no he would hate that." I laughed. "So do it?" Will said making me laugh harder. "Audrey, I am really proud of you. Through this all, you came out on top. Your work has been amazing, you took on michaels work like a champ. We're lucky to have you. That is all."
He smiled dismissing me knowing I was about to cry.
I was walking out "hey send Wesley in!" He hollered. I walked by Wes "boss man needs you, you're in trouble." I teased.
I sat at my desk looking at this check..... what do I do with this? I mean I have an idea but... "hey!" Ally greeted. "Hey," I smiled. "What's going on?" She asked sitting down. "Will just gave me this." I said showing her the check. Her eyes nearly bugged out of her head. "Why?!" She asked. "Its a bonus. Apparently I wrote 6 hit songs in the past 4 months and have brought in some serious business." I said. "Damn dre. I'm proud of you." She said sincerely. "Thanks. Is it bad I already know what I want to spend it on?" I giggled. "What's that?" She asked. "I want to surprise Michael with an at home gym. We both wanted one." I shrugged. "Ivedefinitely heard Michael complain about having to go to forreal fitness so I think he's love it. Not too far and easy access. Just as long as you use it." She said. I nodded "I know he will and you and Wes always could too!" I smiled. Ally gave me that look, "have you ever seen me work out?" She laughed. We laughed together. "You ready to have him home?" She asked running her belly. "Yes, especially since he's back to himself. I need to have actual sex. Tony doesn't compare." I groaned making her laugh.
