Sonknux: The Horrors Of Summer Vacation

Prologue - The first day of Summer Vacation

It was a warm sunny day. The Sonic gang have arrived there and were amazed by the 5 star motel they will be staying at. Not to mention it sponsored its own theme park. But things were not all good. Hero of Mobius 'Sonic The Hedgehog' was being neglected by his own friends. Sonic tried to be friendly and his usual self but unfortunately no prevail. The Sonic gang got tired of Sonics arrogance. They wanted to have a Sonic free vacation but 'In vain' they won't be. Even his own brother 'Manic' wanted to have a Sonic free summer. The motel was like a Paris style design. The theme park was as beautiful as the motel itself. Sonic said, "Man this is great. How about we go....?" before he can finish, he sees everyone walked to the motel to get checked in. Sonic felt a little hurt but he shrugged it off.

The inside of the motel was as beautiful as the outside. Its like if you set foot on it, you would feel like you stepped into a dream. But even the most beautiful places can hold a real dark secret or two. Sonic walked to the front desk and saw the others already booked a room or two of their own. Even Manic booked a room for himself. Sonic spies him and said, "Hey Manic, listen I have been noticing you didn't.." Manic walked away and ignored him. Sonic sighed deeply before he turn to the desk clerk and said, "Room for one please." the clerk said, "Of course my good sir. sign your name here and we will get you to a room on the second floor." Sonic nodded and written his name as he looked at his friends talking to each other. Once he finished, the clerk said politely, "Alrighty its settled, here sir, your room is on the second floor, your room number is 1028." Sonic nodded before he saw one of the motel workers 'who turned pail from what he just heard and also a bag-carrier' shaking in fear and breaking in a rapid sweat. the motel worker swallowed and said, "A-are you sure you want to put him in that room?" The clerk told him to stop being nervous in a kind way and told him to get the bags to the room. He turn to Sonic and said, "My apologies sir. He gets nervous whenever room 1028 is brought up. Needless to say, that room had a real 'ghastly' past. People 'who stayed in that room' only last for a week or two. They claim that strange things have been happening in that room before checking out. Can't say we have any complaints about it." Sonic was not a skeptic kind of teenage hedgehog boy. He never believed in super natural stuff. He just shrugged, assumed that kids his age have been playing pranks on the previous guests that stayed in that room in the past as a cruel and sick joke. Far more cruel than how Sonic jokes around. Sonic thanked the clerk and followed the motel worker that was carrying the bags to his room. Just after they arrived, The motel worker placed the bags at the entrance of room 1028. Sonic asked in curiosity, "Are you really scared of one little room?" He then joked around and said, "Oh man, that is just funny. Your not chicken are you?" The motel worker looked down and said, "I rather be chicken sir." Sonic then said to him, "Come on its probably just some kids scaring off people as a joke." The motel worker whispered in fear, "I wish it was that way." Sonic asked, "Why are you so afraid pf the room?" the motel  worker hesitated and answered nervously, "Its not just the room sir. I'm scared of what lurks in there. Even the last guest 'who was a close friend of mine' saw why I'm afraid of going in that room." Sonic asked with a raised brow, "Any particular reason why?" The motel worker replied nervously as he rubbed his right arm with his left hand, "I... Rather not say. Sorry I can't be much help." Sonic said for him that he had no need to apologize and thanked him for the service. he unlocked the room and carried his things in. The motel worker sighed in fear and said before leaving, "If you need anything don't hesitate to phone for room service. Plus there is a cafe and a restaurant down at the lobby. Good day sir." The motel worker walked off as Sonic wave to him and close the door. He turned on the lights. The room seemed normal and cleaned. Nothing unusual or out of the ordinary. He unpacked and smiled. Thats when Sonic walked off. There he bumped into his best friend and ex-rival 'Knuckles The Echidna'. The red echidna was not too happy about him bumping into Sonic. The cobalt hedgehog said to him, "Need a hand there buddy?" Sonic gave him a hand. But Knuckles stood up and said in his usual hothead tone, "I do not need your help and for the 20'th time, we are not buddies." Sonic teased as he chuckled, "Hey, no need for that kind of talk so grouchy pal, You, know you needed a vacation from all of your master emerald duties." Knuckles walked off and said rudely, "I'm only here because you dragged me with the rest of you." Sonic asked, "You want to come with me to my room and hang out?" Knuckles stopped and blushed a crimson red before he shook his head 'rapidly' before he said, "N-no! Now leave me alone!" Sonic sighed before he walked to his room and said to himself, "No need to be so rude." Once Sonic entered his room, he closed the door behind him. He was a little hurt deep down for Knuckles being rude to him like that. But it wasn't just Kknuckles. Its everyone 'who came to the trip.' Though things would be terrifying than that.
