Chapter 14 - Cayden and Soaring

Both genius's were at the library looking up some old history of room 1028.

Tails was looking at old books and old archives and Boomer was researching on the computer.

It took them until night time to find the answers.

Shawn and Manic were sitting down. Shawn looked at the ceiling while Manic was thinking about saving his brother.

That was when Boomer found something and motions for Tails to come here.

Tails asked him, "Did you find anything?"

Boomer answered as he was looking at an article of Room 1028, "Yeah. Look at this T."

He reads the title of the article allowed, "16 year old Lynx found dead in room 1028."

Tails asked, "16? That's how old Sonic is. Could this be...?"

Boomer nodded before he red some of the article allowed, "Cayden The Lynx, 16 years old. Found dead this morning when housekeeping was doing the usual routine. The cause of death was suicide but there was a real possibility that he was murdered in that room judging from the mess. But due to lack of evidence and no one came forward, the investigation stayed opened."

Tails had a frightened look on his face. That was when Boomer looked at another article that red, "Update on Cayden The Lynx death; "It was suppose to be a prank" says Jean The Shrew. Investigation has discovered that 1028 was having a get-together. But things got out of control when. Cayden's boyfriend 'Soaring The Fox' was found dead. "It was all my fault. We did not mean for this to happen. We didn't think this would go too far." says Jean The Shrew. "Now cause of us, Cayden will come back for his revenge. Now just for what we did to Soaring 'his one and only' but for what we did to him." Says a female teenage bird."

The two genius's were stunned. That was when Tails found an old yearbook.

He then flips through the pages, until he sees an image of a Lynx and a fox hugging and smiling.

In the background was the hotel. A description that red: 'Rest In Peace Cayden and Soaring'.

Tails said to Boomer, "I think I found them."

Tails then reads a page from the book, "Things are just awful. Why did we do this? They were the most strongest couple ever. But when we killed Cayden after Soaring was... I was frightened. Cayden's ghost looked at me and said as he laughed 'I will have my revenge! Not just for me but for Soaring as well' we are screwed."

The group felt paralyzed. Manic muttered, "We are in big trouble."
