The red echidna kept wondering and wondering what is happening with Sonic.
Yet he couldn't find out what.
When Sonic arrived on the night Mighty was killed, Knuckles somehow got hurt but he didn't know how he got hurt.
He slipped into unconscious for a little while, before waking up on the floor.
The red echidna woke up in the hallways with a back pain.
It went on for half of the month.
Although Knuckles was not having any luck with Sonic considering he stayed in the room he stayed in like he was some shut in that didn't want to be social.
That was until one night, Knuckles was trying to win his heart once again.
Knuckles was not giving up easily on him. But that was when Sonic walked out of the room.
It was dark out as much as it was dark in the motel.
The red echidna looked to see Sonic-Cayden as he stopped and growled.
That was when Manic, his friends, and Tails stopped behind him as Knuckles see them pass him.
Shawn said to him coldly, "Alright Cayden. That's enough. Let the kid go."
Sonic-Cayden replied as he sneered at them while looking at them, "Well. If it isn't the ghost geeks."
That was when Knuckles hears them talking while Cayden growled at them.
It made sense to Knuckles how Sonic was acting strange.
When they finished, Cayden said to them, "Hmph! Maybe you all shoulda thought about helping us before killing us both that fateful and tragic day."
