Chapter 3

Phil's POV
Everyone looked at us in shock. Then everyone burst into a laughter that would make you cringe and cry. Everyone started yelling things at us as we made our way through the crowd of boys. We ran through the halls and I was about to lose Dan throuh the craze of passing periods so I grabbed his arm.

We both burst into the office and Dan said to the lady at the front desk "Miss?" Dan asked politely but out of breath, "Do you think that you could please call my mum, I'm Dan Howell." "May I ask why?" She said nicely. "Well.. it's a really long story." I interjected. "Umm I'll need you to tell me if you want your mum to come and pick you up. Also, Phil, is it? Would you like me to call your mum, if you two tell me why you want to go home." She said. "No, I'm going home with Daniel here!" I replied hoping that Dan wouldn't let go because I was still held onto him from the hallway. I turned around and saw Pj and Cat looking through the office window and the had a look of 'what the holy f*ck' on their faces. I ignored them and turned back to the woman at the desk and Dan.

"Okay here's what happend" Dan started, " I was walking up to dump my tray when Phil got up infront of me. I fell on top of him and it looked like we had just kissed, but we didn't. All of the people in the cafiteria looked at us and laughed. I ran into the bathroom and after a good 15 mnutes Phil came into the bathroom, got me, and helped me clean up in the locker room because there was food all over me. When the bell rang for gym all the boys came in to change and saw us just chilling in there. Now we can't face anyone."
Dan said thankfully leaving out self harming, puking, and our hug, which I was thankfull for him leaving it out.

"Well that seems like a pretty good reason to go home. I've been there before. It'll get better just wait and see. If any bulling happens I want you to come to the office straight away and both of you need to start going to the counselor twice a week." She said actually giving a damn about me, the new outsider. And Dan, the loser for most of his life. "Thank you, miss." I replied "Call me Miss Day," she said back and we both went and sat outside to wait for Dans mum. "So? You like Pokemon?" dan asked me "Yeah, growlthithe is the best." I replied. During the wait I also learned he liked Death Note, which was my nerdy side coming out to him, and had a tumblr.

After 10 minutes of waiting Dans' mom pulled up and parked the car and got out to meet us. She gave Dan a mom hug and after Dan she came over to me.

"Oh, Hi! Is that you, Phil?" She asked "Yep!" I said as she hugged me. "It's nice to see you again" I said "On the contrary Phillip, its so nice to see you after all this time! You 've gotton so tall! And it seems like puberty has done well to you. Oh my, its been years since I've talked to you!" She said. I think she could've gone longer but Dan coughed so tell her to stopped being embarrassing and we all got in the car. "Phil would you like to join us for supper?" His mom asked and I glanced to Dan for approval and he gave me the biggest smile and two thumbs up so I said, "Sure! I'll just text my mum to let her know where I am."

"Now, Daniel James Howell why did one of the ladies in the office call me to pick you up today?" She said to Dan "Nothing mum, just bullies, you know how they are. " Dan said calmly "And why are you roped in with him?" Dans mum asked. Thankfully, Dan answered that,

"The whole school thinks Phil and I are in a relationship." He said blushing. "Wait, what? That doesent make sense. Why?" Dans mom asked us. "I'll explain later mum." He said as soon as we pulled into the driveway of his flat. "Casa De La Howell." He said and I laughed and I thought to myself that is why I wanted him to be my best friend, but I knew that it was impossible.

A/n I really love this book so eating and sleep haven't been a priority and I've just been writing. I was on spring break so I had time to write. I hope you've had a great day! To be honest I think I've just had loads of caffeine and sugar so yeah this is probably gibberish. bye!
