Prom?

Phil POV

I walked in the front door of the Howell residence, well mine too now. "Mum?" Dan yelled through the house "Yeah?" She asked and walked into the kitchen and saw me with my bags. "Oh Phil..." she said and came over to me and I dropped my bags when she hugged me and I hugged back "I am so sorry, you're accepted and wanted here." she said "Thanks. Mrs. Howell" I replied "There's a spare room upstairs that Dan can show you too and you can unpack. Have a good night you two." She said "Thanks mum!" Dan yelled as we walked up the stairs.

We got my room, it was across the hall from Dans. I started to unpack the shirts I brought and hung them up. Dan had the pants folded and in a drawer. He then pulled out lion. "Lion!" I yelled and got him out of Dans' hands and sat him upright on the bed. Dan burst out laughing. We finished packing and Dan was sitting on the bed while I was standing up admiring my new room.

"Dan... I'm sacred, if this is how my mum and dad reacted, what about the school?" I said pacing across the floor and Dan got off the bed "maybe I should-" I started to say when Dan pined me against the wall and kissed me, it wasn't sweet or fluffy. It was passionate, he licked my bottom lip for entrance and I let him in. He explored my mouth and then it was my turn to go on an adventure. I was about to continue but Dan pulled away. "You're not gonna get that unless we tell the school." He said. He then winked and left me alone in my room. "That charming bastard..." I said and fell onto the bed.

At 1 am I was still awake. I had been listening to music and thinking the way I would pull off coming out to the entire school. Wait, our Junior prom is 2 weeks away. I hadn't even thought about it. I could ask Dan and tell the school at the same time. Wait, would Dan like that? I don't know, but he deserves the most romantic gesture I can think of. "Hopefully he says yes" I whispered in my room, and I could almost hear Dan reply with "I will." Then I fell asleep.

The next day

Dan's POV

"Josie, I wanna try going to lunch today." I said. Lunch was in 15 minutes "Are you sure Dan?" She asked "Yes." I said "I'm gonna hang out with Phil and Cat today." "Did anything happen I should know about?" she asked "Phil came out to his parents. I told my mum I was gay and she was fine, Phil's parents kicked him out. He's living with me and my mum now." I said "I'm so sorry you and Phil have to deal with this, and you two now are?" She asked "Friends, until he tells the school. I'm confirmed out already but no bullies really." I lied regular beatings every day from the unholy trinity. I heard a distant bell. "Here I go." I said and walked out the door.

I got my food and went over and sat by Phil, Pj, and Cat. "Hi!" I said and got hellos from everyone else. I started to eat when I was interrupted by Phil getting up and standing on top of a table and yelling "Hey everyone quiet down!" and everyone got silent. He got off the table he was still standing and started walking around.

"So, Prom is in two weeks and everyone seems to have their date. Now I've been dating Cat so it only makes since I would go with her, and that's what everyone assumes, right?" He said and everyone nodded. "Well that's not the case... 31 days ago in this very room I fell dumping my tray. Me falling was caused by a boy." He was doing it, he was coming out. i started to tear up. "He felt like he had just offended the queen by making a inconvenience for a cool kid. That wasn't the case, he changed my life. He helped me accept who I was and he became my friend. We sang a duet in choir and texted each other and now... " he coughed and I had tears coming down my cheeks. I wiped them away because I thought I knew what he was doing.

"I know that I'm in love with him" I looked around and saw Pj recording it on his phone and Cat looking teary-eyed. "So there's something I'd like to ask this boy..." he walked over towards me and took my hand. He pulled me up so I was standing. "Dan Howell." I heard gasps "Will you go to prom with me?" He asked and held out a ticket. "Of course!" I said and hugged him, completely ignoring everyone. It was about five seconds into the hug that the entire lunchroom started cheering and clapping. I let go of the hug and saw that everyone was happy for us, except the group of bullies in the corner, but I didn't care. Honestly, you can't please them all, so we didn't try.

A/N awwww... *evil laughter heard in the distance* In honor of my school having their prom I thought I should include this. All my high school friend look so grown up, thanks Facebook friends for making me feel bad spending my night reading fanfiction.
