It's You And Me, Always

Well, that just happened...

Hiccup's POV:
I woke up to the sound of a door closing, and I wonder why Dad's leaving the house so early when I remember yesterdays events. Dustin's still gone. I sit up in bed and sigh. Toothless is looking at me with his little tongue sticking out and I smile at him "C'mon bud let's get you some food". I walk down the stairs with Toothless trotting along behind me. I grab one of the bowls I bought for him yesterday, fill it with dog food, and place it down in front of Toothless. I watch as he greedily gobbles up his food, then I make myself a bowl of cereal, carefully putting away the dog food just so I don't accidentally mix them up.

After breakfast I go up in my room, and pick up my guitar, playing a couple of songs to pass time and to keep me from thinking of Dustin, when my phone rings. "Hello?"

"Hiccup!" it's my dad, "Meet me at the police department immediately. They may have news on Dustin!" He says urgently then hangs up

I quickly get dressed, then bike as fast as I can to the police department. I chain my bike, then run inside.

"Hello, how can I help you?" The guy on the desks asks

"Mayor.......Dustin......Harvey" I say out of breath

"Excuse me?" The guy asks confused

"Sorry......I'm looking for the Mayor. I'm his son." I say after finally catching my breath

"Oh, they're in there" He says and points to a door on my left

"Thanks" I say and head inside. There was a desk and a couch inside the small room.

"Ah, Hiccup Haddock" I hear a voice say, and I turn my head to the desk

"Officer Throk" I wave, and take a seat next to my Dad who was on the couch

"So? Where's my son?" My Dad asks , and I can see his knee's shaking

"I've looked at all the camera footage we have around Edge Park, and we spotted a suspect with a black hoodie carrying Dustin into a car. I followed the car with the cameras, and their vehicle was no where to be seen on cameras after they passed the airport" Throk said looking at his computer

"Do you have any ID on this guy?" My Dad asks

"Actually we do. Allow me a few seconds to pull it up" Throk says while typing something, and then he turns his monitor to us and my Dad just gasps

"It can't be" He whispers

I look at the picture and I see a guy who looked like mom, but his eyes were hazel instead of blue "Dad, whose that?" I ask

"T-That's Arthur....your Mother's brother" He says, and it's my turn to be surprised

"She had a brother?" I raise an eyebrow

"Aye, but he wasn't very pleased that his younger sister, your mother, would be marrying someone like me. Especially since he was running against me. When I won the election he was very angry, and threatened us. I told him that I'd arrest him if he came near us again, and after that I never saw him in Berk. Must've left somewhere, and now he's back and crazier than ever" My Dad sighs

"How come you never told me about him?" I ask after absorbing all this new information

"Well, it was your Mother's decision. She didn't exactly want her son to know about her crazy brother threatening us every time now did she?" He says

"R-Right" I say, a little overwhelmed

"Anyway, back to Dustin. Where do you think they could've gone Throk?" My Father says

"They could have hid in the empty warehouses that the airport no longer uses, or they could be staying in those shady apartments nearby" Throk says turning the monitor back to him, and checking the area
