Steve's POV
Clint and I got Bucky to sit down in a chair.
"Ok, somebody tell me what the hell happened," I said infuriated.
"Well you left and Bucky freaked out and then Sam said some stuff and Bucky didn't like that so he punched him," Clint said, "That's the short version by the way."
"What the hell did he say to make you punch him in the face?" I asked Bucky.
"Let's just say he didn't except Bucky for who he is," Clint said.
"Oh."
"Where did you go?" Bucky asked.
"I went to the bathroom."
"Why the hell did it take you so long."
"Do you know how hard it is to go to the bathroom in a wheel chair?"
"I'm guessing it's pretty difficult." Bucky said starting to cry.
"Why are you crying?" I asked now more confused than ever.
"Because I punched Sam for no reason."
"The man deserved it," Clint said.
"See he deserved it, you didn't punch him for no reason," I said but he was still crying. "Why are you still crying?"
"I'm pretty sure I broke my wrist," he said tying to move his fingers but nothing happened.
"Why didn't your tell me that earlier?"
"I wasn't thinking about it earlier," Bucky said starting to get mad.
"Come on were all going to the hospital."
"No."
"Why not."
"Because I don't know if it's broken."
"Dude you're crying, its broken."
"Good point," he said giving up.
"Come on," I said. "Natasha you stay here and go upstairs to help them."
"Why do I have to stay here."
"Because the only people I trust are Clint, Bucky, and Sam. I need Clint because he's driving, Bucky is a little preoccupied, and so is Sam so I need you up there because you're the only other person I trust."
"You trust way to many people," Natasha said heading up the stairs.
The car was a little cramped but we made it work. A little box kept poking me in the back so I threw it in the back seat with the others.
"How you doing back there Buck?" I asked when we were about halfway to the hospital.
"Good," he said but I could hear the pain in his voice.
"Are you sure?"
"Yup."
"You want me to come back there."
"No I'm good."
"Ok, we're almost there so it'll just be a couple more minutes."
We got to the hospital and walked into the ER. Bucky went off with some doctor and the rest of us waited in the waiting room. It was pretty boring but Thor looked pretty interested with the little box I threw at him.
"Hey what's that?" Clint asked him.
"Some box Steve threw at me."
"Was it in the car?" He asked more defensively.
"I'm guessing."
"That's Nat's box," he said reaching out to grab it.
"So?" Thor said dodging Clint's hand.
"So, it has secrets in there."
"I can't even get the box open," Thor said, "It's some sort of puzzle box."
"Well you can do the puzzle but you can't read anything inside of the box," Clint said backing down.
"Okay I won't."
"Good."
The doctor came out to talk to us about Bucky.
"So what's wrong with him?" I asked.
"His wrist is broken and bruised but other than that he should be fine. He has to wear a cast for a while and his injuries look like they were from punching someone, so I need you to tell me the whole story about what happened."
"His friend didn't like the fact that he was gay so Bucky punched him. Are you going to tell the police?" I asked trying to hide how scared I was.
"Well it sounds like the guy deserved it so I'm going to let it slide but don't tell anyone or I might get into trouble," the doctor said with a little wink.
"We won't. Can he go home tonight or does he have to stay overnight."
"He can go home there's really not much else we can do. Someone needs to help him and I suggest its someone besides you."
"Why besides me."
"Because you're injured too," he said pointing out the crutches.
"So someone has to look after the both of us?" I said with a sigh.
"Yes."
"Okay thanks Doc we'll stop by his room in a minute and check him out."
The doctor walked away and I turned to everyone else.
"I'll do it," Clint said as if reading my mind.
"Thanks Clint."
"I did it!" Thor shouted, "I got the box open!!"
"Good for you," I said sarcastically.
We walked down to Bucky's room.
"Hey Buck," I said knocking on the door.
"Hey what's up," he said quite enthusiastically.
"Nice cast," I said slightly laughing at the color.
"Thanks."
"Why is it purple."
"Because purple is our school color."
"Oh yeah. So Clint's going to be taking care of both of us until we get our casts off."
"Who's house are we going to stay at?"
"We can stay at mine since our stuff is already there but we can stay at yours if you want to."
"No we can stay at your house."
"Ok I'll call my mom and tell her to stop by your house and grab some more stuff."
"What are we going to do now?"
"I'm going to check you out and then we're going to go home."
"But Sam's there," he said with anger still in his eyes.
"I'll call Natasha and tell her to make Sam go home before we get there."
"Good."
"I'm going to go check you out I'll be back in a minute."
I signed my name about a million times but I finally got him signed out.
"Are you ready?" I asked Bucky.
"Yeah."
"Hold on let me call Nat and tell her that she needs to tell Sam to go home."
"Ok."
The call was short because Nat totally understood why Bucky wanted him gone.
"Alright let's go back to my place."
"We should stop by my house so I can grab some stuff and we should drop Thor off at his house too," Clint said.
"Okay." I said.
