Chapter sixteen

Bucky's POV
I was halfway hoping that Sam was there because I wanted to beat him up so badly but the other half of me knew that wasn't going to get me very far. If he didn't like gay people that's his problem and he's just going to have to deal with it. I just hope Steve won't pretend to be straight to please everyone else. When we got to the house Sam wasn't there which is a good thing. Natasha was still there but everyone else left.
"Hey Clint are you taking me home?" Natasha asked Clint.
"Oh crap I forgot, I'm spending the night here."
"How am I supposed to get home my car is still at school."
"You can stay here tonight and I'll take you to school tomorrow."
"Fine."
"You guys can sleep upstairs in my room and Bucky and I will sleep down here," Steve said.
"Ok."
"You guys are ok with sleeping with each other right?" I asked.
"Yeah," Natasha said with a wink.
"Let's go upstairs and get ready for bed it's pretty late and we have school tomorrow."
Natasha and Clint went upstairs and I got comfortable on the air mattress.
"I want to sleep with you Buck," Steve said blushing.
"Then get on the air mattress," I said patting the empty spot next to me.
Steve slowly got off the couch and plopped down next to me on the air mattress.
"This is more uncomfortable than the couch," Steve said.
"You get used to it after a while."
Steve wrapped his arm around my torso and we slept like that through the night. It was early the next morning when I got up for school and Steve was still asleep. I shook him awake.
"Hey babe do you want to go to school today?" I asked and he replied with a very groggy no.
"Well I'm going to, I can't risk having a lot of makeup work and all that shit so I'll see you when I get home."
I kissed Steve on the head and rode with Natasha and Clint to school. Once we got to school Clint stayed in the car.
"I'm going back guys, someone needs to take care of Steve all day. I'll pick you guys up after school."
"Ok,0 Natasha said, "But you're going to drop off Bucky at Steve's and then come to my place."
"Fine."
Clint drove off back towards Steve's house and Natasha and I walked into school together. Everyone had questions about Steve and me too. I tried hard to answer their questions but some of them I just didn't know how to answer. Natasha told me what happened when I was gone and nothing much really happened except for a couple fights and new relationships but that was usual in high school. Sam didn't show up to school today and I wanted to know why. Was he afraid to face me after what happened or was he sick or did he get hurt when I punched him. I pushed those thoughts to the back of my mind. Tony and Bruce kept up their reputation as being popular and are doing a pretty damn good job. Girls love Bruce and Tony now. Loki apparently hasn't shown up to school for a while and still wasn't there today. I thought maybe Thor punched him in the face again but I think Loki would be back by now. Thor kept talking to this new student named Jane and I'm pretty sure they like each other.
"Hey Thor," I said.
"Hey buddy what's up, how's the wrist."
"The wrist is good, what about you?" I said with a cheeky wink.
"What do you mean?"
"Oh come on Thor I saw you talking to that girl over there."
"Yeah so," he said starting to blushes
"So I think she likes you."
"Well I doubt that."
"Oh come on man just go over there and ask her out."
"We just met."
"Ok well then wait a couple days and then ask her out."
"But-."
"No no no no no, no buts just do it."
"Fine, I will but I'm waiting a couple days."
"That's fine as long as you do it."
"Why are you so much of a matchmaker today?"
"I don't know I just can't help it, seeing you two together is just the cutest."
"Never say that ever again."
"Fine," I said putting my hands up like I was surrendering.
Lunch was interesting as usual. The food was disgusting and probably not even food but I still ate it anyway. The football players kept asking me a whole bunch of questions about Steve and that just made me miss him. It wasn't fair that Clint gets to stay with him, even though I made up my mind about going to school today. I kind of regret not staying with him. I sat at a table with Natasha, Bruce, Thor, and Tony. Natasha looked pretty bored since Clint wasn't there. Clint was thirty minutes late to pick up Natasha and I. We stood out in the pouring rain to wait for him. I really wanted to get home so I could see Steve again.
