5:40am. Bucky's Room

"I've missed you too Buck," Jadeyn muttered as she panted slowly, releasing the largest sigh. Her breathing reduced through her puckered lips, finally revealing the words she had been wanting to say to him for years. Her shoulders dropped down of relief, relaxing into the conversation, contradicting her tense state before.

Bucky couldn't help but smile as he held onto the door as lust glistened over his steel eyes. The love of his life was standing before him, at last, sharing the intimacy that had been taken away from them. He looked down at the girl, taking in her aroma. Time stopped as they poured into each other, nothing else mattered between the pair, except for this moment in time.

His relief from hiding his secret suddenly washed away, his brief moment of peace vanishing before him. Scanning her olive skinned face brought him back to the past, the same face he recognized through the violence he caused her. Remembering all the pain, his thoughts quickly turned into anguish as the images of Jadeyn's screams played through his mind; it never left him. He had pictured himself attacking Jadeyn everyday, praying for her forgiveness when she returned. 'She knows I remember us, she knows I remember hurting her," he silently thought. He wasn't in control, it wasn't him. However, as much as they both know that, the memories still continue to haunt him, punishing himself everyday.

"I am so sorry, Jay," his smile quickly turning into a repentant frown, swallowing the dabs of saliva left on his sorrowful tongue. "Please still see me for who you knew before."

With her eyes still locked on his, Jadeyn could almost see their life play out together through the screen in his iris'. She could see the slideshow of their memories; his touch, his smile, his love. It was all still there. She could tell his apology was truly genuine.

"I need you to know my feelings have never changed for you, I will explain everything, please come in." He pleaded to her, never sounding so sincere before. He was scared of what she was feeling internally, not knowing if she would ever forgive him. Communication was something they had struggled with in their relationship. If anything, it was the stubbornness between them rather than the lack of communication skills, not knowing how to convey each other's emotions into words.

The only sight of a response was from her eyes, as he watched the tears brim the edges. He could tell she was trying not to blink, avoiding the stream falling onto her cheeks. It was happiness and pain mixed together, they could both feel it. He felt his heart strings tear after watching her lips tremor and eyes water, mentally kicking himself knowing this couldn't be the only time she had cried because of his actions. In that moment, all he felt was desire. He needed to hold her and never let go.

So much has happened in the last 24 hours. Secrets, mixed feelings, and lust have been circulating the air. Overwhelmed was an understatement to how Jadeyn could label it. Her stomach turned from seeing his somber. Bucky was the softest person she knew, he wouldn't hurt a fly. It was so hard to see him like this. She could almost hear her own heartbeat through her chest, not knowing how to initiate the next move, she felt glued to the floor beneath her.
