Bucky's Room. 8:50pm.

"Damn it, Bucky!" Steve asserted as he stood in the opening of Bucky's doorway, thudding his fist against the frame. Everyone had returned to their rooms and called it a early night after the game, taking advantage of their weekend before they get to work the following week. But Bucky's patience had run thin to the point where he had to excuse himself, growing tired of watching Thor and Jadeyn. Steve had followed Bucky to his room a few minutes later, angry with both him and himself after unraveling his secrecy.

"You've kept this from me the entire time?"

"Steve, I-"

"Why didn't you come to me? I had to pretend and lie to you this whole time."

"You had no other choice, I get it."

"I was genuinely convinced you had lost your memory."

"I should take up acting huh?" He smirked, trying to lighten the mood.

"For a year, man?! I just wish you'd told me sooner. How much do you even remember?" He questioned as he stepped into the room, letting the heavy door shut behind him.

"Pretty much everything."

"Wait a sec, does Jadeyn even know?"

Bucky hesitated with his next sentence as he locked eyes with him; afraid to reveal more of his undisclosed information.

"Are you still in love with her?" Steve continued.

"Of course I am. I know I fucked up it when I worked with Hydra but my feelings for her havent changed at all. She means the world to me."

"Sam and I said at the party last night that you two looked like you'd never left each other's side, like nothing happened between you too. I guess our speculations were right."

"We'll see, man."

"What do you mean?" Steve pondered as he took a seat on one of his arm chairs, eliciting a serious tone.

"I don't know. I mean, she slept here last night with me and there's times where I feel like nothing's changed but I just...I don't know."

"It's Thor, isn't it?"

"They're just so...touchy. My head doesn't stop pondering about the things they possibly did when they were away; especially during my attack, he was right there waiting to comfort her. I can't help but feel maybe it's my fault that something sparked between them." Bucky expressed.

Steve was shocked at Bucky being so open and honest about how he was feeling. It didn't click that all these emotions had no choice but to be bottled up internally. He realized he had spent all this time in agony and regret alone; he probably needed this more than Steve had come to recognize.

"Go talk to her, Buck, find out how she truly feels about him. You'll never know unless you ask."

"She said she'd come see me tonight but with her knocking out earlier on the couch, I'm sure she'll be out the rest of the night."

"Yeah, Thor carried her up to her room after you left. Let her sleep for a little and go check on her in a couple hours, she needs to talk to you just as much as you do."

The image of Thor holding her flooded into his mind, making him bite the inside of his cheek again. He assumed that hadn't been the only time he's done that, making his blood boil beneath him.

"What if he's there with her?" He inquired, reminiscing from the night when he encountered Thor towering behind her figure as Jadeyn opened her bedroom door.

"I think I may have seen him go back upstairs with Sam and Scott, but even if he was in there, fight for what you want. You need to put your foot down, Buck."
