3:40pm. Happy's Office.

After Jadeyn and Thor caught everyone up with their interesting stories from their time away, Happy insisted on getting their paperwork out of the way now so they have the rest of the day to relax.

Thor stood from the crowded couch and presented his hand to Jadeyn, allowing her to pull herself up from her slouched position, following Happy and him over to the elevator.

"Be quick with them Hogan, they can't miss the game that's on soon!" Sam yelled as the trio entered the opening doors.

"I'm not missing that game Wilson, don't worry." Thor replied before the doors shut on them, shooting them up a few levels.

Walking out onto level three, the two were gestured down the secluded hallway that belonged to all the security administration, overlooking the main entrance of the building. Thor looked down to his left side, admiring Jadeyn's stride across the hall, confidence flourishing off her as she walked.

"Would you guys like to do this separately or together?" Happy said as he stopped before his office door.

"Together?" Thor enquired as he never left her gaze.

She smiled up at him in response, "Together." Foreshadowing their past year.

"Come on in then." Happy presumed, rounding his mahogany desk as the two sat opposite of him.

Happy had no issue with them sharing their confidential information with each other, knowing how close the pair had become, assuming they told each other everything about one another. He was known for being adamant with all paperwork pertaining to the team; it almost left him restless without ensuring everyone was up to date in his files.

"I have received all your medical reports back from yesterday afternoon; your physicals are cleared, your labs came back normal and all vitals look stable. But please, make any of the medical staff aware if your pain worsens...or if anything pops up or pops out." He said, gesturing to Thor's shoulder with a smirk. "Though you guys had some pretty funny stories to tell earlier from your mission, I know you both went through agony and it wasn't easy to work, especially with the conditions you were in. I can't even imagine the toll it has had on both of you. I just wanted to say how sorry I am and how glad we all are that you're both back in good shape and health. That being said, if you guys need anything, do not hesitate to come forward, please. We're all here to help you guys get back into your normal routine and feel at home again."

"Thank you sir, we've definitely been appreciating all the hospitality we've been receiving; and it's helped us adjust immensely." Thor responded with a smile.

"Of course, we're all here for you. Anyways, moving on from the soppy stuff; medications, how are we looking with that?" Happy asked as he flickered through both their files, inspecting their past prescriptions.

Thor cleared his throat taking a quick glance at Jadeyn before beginning to answer.

"Refills on all of mine, sir." He responded.

Happy ticked each box next to the three medications on his file with no question; he couldn't phantom how hard it must've been going months without access to any pharmacies.

"How did you find managing without them, if you are comfortable sharing?"

Jadeyn raised her eyebrows taking a look at him, curious as to what his response would be. Thor sensed her gaze from his side knowing they'd both seen each other at their lowest moments, barely coping without his prescriptions.

He lost everything he had in the years leading up to Dhaka; his parents, his friends, his people in Asgard. But he lost himself when he lost Loki, the pinnacle of his low point, realizing he had no one left. Of course he had the team, but he didn't have those bonds that Jadeyn had developed. He often felt like an outsider, being from a whole different planet and all. He took advantage of the resources the compound offered and was prescribed everything in the book to take his pain away, both mentally and physically. But as time passed, he slowly befriended everyone in their own way, gaining the feeling of having a family again; which was somewhat of a medication itself.

Thor still relied on his medication heavily, not having it handy for the last six months was gruelling. Jadeyn was truly the reason why he held on for so long. He felt like he owed her such gratitude. He owed it to himself that the only way to pay her back would be to get her home safe. She truly was his justification for living.
