Favorite Romantic Anime and Manga

Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun (Manga and Anime)

Plot: Mizutani Shizuku is the type of person who only cares for her own grades. But when she accidentally delivers lesson notes to Yoshida Haru, he becomes convinced they are friends. Haru turns out to have a very innocent personality, but who would've thought that Haru would actually confess to Shizuku? A cold-hearted girl and super-troublemaker romance with a fresh new perspective.

My Opinion: ..........I.......... LOVE THE MANGA!!!!!!! Oh my gosh I really could not stop reading this manga! I loved it so much and was so hooked to it in the very beginning! It is funny and it is seriously a good manga! I have yet to finish the manga because well the next chapter has yet to update but no worries, the manga has 37 Chapters so far! I found out they had an anime pretty much just about when the anime came out and was so glad! So far you can watch the anime in subs up to the 13th episode but it is updated pretty fast (at least where I am watching it so far). The anime is turning out as good as the manga! It is seriously a good series!

Favorite Character: Kenji Yamaguchi (also known as Yamaken)! I love how he is sarcastic and how he teases Yoshida a lot later in the series.The rivarly between him and Yoshida is funny! It is funny when Yoshida gets easily jealous over Mizutani! I love how Yamaken does things to make Yoshida jealous as well and also how he gets Yoshida on Mizutani's bad side a lot! It is funny how he gets Yoshida in trouble!

Favorite Couple: Oh this one is so hard! I usually prefer where the guy is rude, sarcastic, mean and obnoxious but yet he cares for the girl deeply and well Yamaken is like that... sort of... I would say YamakenXMizutani but I also love YoshidaXMizutani because of Yoshida's past and how is he very protective over her. I guess YoshidaXMizutani will be my favorite but if Mizutani ever ends up with Yamaken instead, I would be happy with that as well!

This manga is really good and funny. Yoshida is funny and I love how Mizutani gets jealous when she realizes that Yoshida is smarter than her and beats her in the exams and such but because Yoshida likes Mizutani he will make it where he at least gets second place and Mizutani gets first but still Mizutani is jealous because she knows he is better than her. I usually skip the opening song when I can or let it play through while I write my stories then go back to watching the anime when I know that the opening song is almost over with. Honestly I wished I knew what the singer is singing but I understand little Japanese T_T

If you like a manga/anime where the guy is kind of weird and goofy and where the girl is a little cold to the guy at first but gradually comes to like him, this manga/anime might be the one for you! Mizutani finds Yoshida annoying at first but she eventually comes to like him and though eventually they confess their feelings to each other, they don't date right a way after confessing, it takes them a while to step up to the next relationship (boyfriend and girlfriend relationship) in their relationship and it did annoy me that it was taking a while for them to offically become boyfriend and girlfriend but it is good. If you also love a manga where there is a rival who is trying to win her heart but also waiting for the perfect chance to snatch her away, then this just adds more to where this romantic manga/anime might be the one for you!
