Taiyou no Ie (Manga)

Plot: Motomiya Mao is a High School student who has "lost a home" after her father gets married again. She starts to live with Nakamura Hiro, 23, who knows Mao since childhood. Since that time Mao spent all her free time with Hiro´s family and after his parents deaths, he´s waiting for the day when his brother, stister and Mao would once more live together.

My Opinion: I adore this manga! It is one of my top ten favorites and also the one I'm always keeping an eye out for the next chapter! Mao is so adorable and cute and her clothes are so cute as well! She has a really nice style of clothing. Hiro is cool and awesome and absolutely funny. He and Mao put together are awesome and they crack you up! They are so funny. It's also very emotional at times when they talk about their past, or think about Hiro's parents and how it used to be when they were alive, or how Mao's father can be such a jerk to her. It's a touching manga with very funny characters and other characters that you really just want to hit (like Mao's father for a great example)

Favorite Character: This is actually really hard... I like Hiro but yet also he can really get me upset because of how slow he is when it comes to romance. I also like Mao and her character and her personality but also she frustrates me when she is so oblivious to some things (like when it comes to romance) and Daiki is another favorite because of his personality and... I don't really have any cons toward him so I guess he is my top favorite right now! His personality can be funny and how he is cold toward Hiro is also funny. Though he may act like he doesn't care, deep down he honestly does. I guess he's more of that character that has a hard time showing their true feelings at times. Which Mao is like that too and that's why I like her too.

Favorite Couple: Mao X Hiro! I'm soo team Hiro! Daiki (Hiro's brother) is cool and I do like his personality because he can be cold and mean but honestly inside is very caring. Still though, with how he acts toward Hiro and Mao and how he can be so cold to Hiro is absolutely funny. Still though, I like Mao and Hiro. I hope the author write a side love story for Daiki because I don't want him to end up alone!!!

I found this manga a long time ago when it had maybe 20 chapters at the most. I don't know but it didn't have a lot of chapters and it was so good, I just couldn't stop reading it and at a point, I finally got to the last updated chapter and set it aside, thinking if I wait a bit, more chapters will come. Well months later (maybe a year later) I started to think about it but couldn't remember the manga and finally found it again and had to reread it. It is such a good manga, I'm even rereading it AGAIN because I'm waiting for the next chapter and I just love the story. Mao has a hard and complicated past while Hiro had a nice childhood with a loving family but then his family dies and his family is divided and so then he also has some problems as well. I love how he's trying so hard to bring his family back together and I hope he succeeds in it (I'm sure he will)!

The romance between him and Mao is nice too but can be just a little slow at times. Haha but then when it's slow and you finally get to a chapter where things look like their romance might actually go somewhere is nice because it just wakes you up again and gets you all excited again. I really do hope Hiro and Mao do end up together though because they are just perfect together (though I wish they were closer in age haha). I suggest you try and give this manga a try because it is very nice :)
