Favorite Romantic Anime and Manga

Kimi ga Suki (Manga)

Plot: Aki has always liked her basketball club friend, Mase. However, she can’t seem to gather her courage to confess to him. On the day when she finally decides to tell him, she is confessed to by a guy from a different Junior High!! A horrible accident follows and Aki finds herself not being able to choose between the two – Mase, whom she truly loves, or Koichi, whom she’ll always feel indebted to…

My Opinion: Warning! Warning! This manga was VERY irritating! I seriously almost stopped reading it! It is a short series with 12 chapters and it didn't get good until about the last couple of chapters. I mean the whole manga was interesting but because Aki wasn't listening to her heart and feelings, she made it so complicated and it irritated me. If I could, I would have slapped her. But... even though it was irritating... it is a good manga and I think it is worth reading... if you can bear it until the end lol. Trust me though, it's good. I wouldn't be adding this manga if it wasn't.

Favorite Character: Hard choice... like really hard because I did like Mase very much but... goodness I can't say anything or I spoil it maybe! *sigh* I would also say Aki but she was irritating me the most in the manga... I am going to have to say Mase because it's not his fault that things were complicated, it was Aki's fault. I wish this manga was a little longer so I could say more about it but because it was short, I don't want to talk a lot about the manga... it would be spoiled then.

Favorite Couple: Mase and Aki. I mean, whole reason why I read this manga because... well doesn't the Plot already sound interesting from reading it? You wonder already who she will choose... the guy she really likes or the guy she feels indebted too? I was already hoping Mase and was already shipping those two.

Like I said... this manga has only 12 chapters and because how this manga is... I honestly can't say much about it or else it would spoil the ending or spoil the entire manga. It is frustrating, it gets irritating and it's actually really hard to read this manga with how everything was turning out... until the end then it got better... lol not because it was the end but because it actually got better.

I had actually started to read this manga with a friend... one day my friend and I were going through mangas and we decided to read this one because it was new and we had yet to read it... she stopped reading it because of how it was going. She was seriously upset with it and no matter how much I tried to get her to read it with me, she wouldn't. I wouldn't blame her because even I nearly gave up on it but I was too interested in it to give up on it. I really wanted to know who Aki was really going to choose or was this manga going to end where she just continues to lie to herself and miss her chance on being with someone she truly loves. When I told my friend that I finished it, she was amazed I even continued to read it. I told her I couldn't stop reading it and I was glad I didn't because the ending did turn out nice.

If you read this manga, I warn you, it gets annoying and such with the heroine but I promise you that it gets better. So if you can endure the heroine's stubbornness and her not listening to her heart, if you can survive through that, you will also end up liking the manga too... hopefully. This manga was actually my kind of manga. I don't know about you but I adore mangas with rivalry where the heroine has to choose between this guy or that guy and both guys are after her so you wonder who she ends up with. Almost like Skip Beat! (Which I plan to also add Skip Beat! It's a good manga but I want to get deeper into the manga before I add it. You know, so I have a lot to say about it and such lol). Anyways, give this manga a try and read it until the end. It's a good manga, frustrating, but good, I promise lol :)
