Favorite Romantic Anime and Manga

Horimiya (Manga)

Plot: Hori may seem like a normal teenage girl, but she's a completely different person after school. In her workaholic parents' absence, Hori has been like a parent for her little brother since she was young herself. Between taking care of her brother, feeding them both, and housework, she doesn't have much time for a usual teenage social life. One day, she meets someone else who does not present his true self at school: a quiet, glasses-wearing boy called Miyamura. She'd assumed he was bookish, and possibly an otaku, but Hori couldn't have been more wrong. Outside of school, Miyamura is a friendly guy with many piercings, and he's not very good at academics. Now the two of them have someone with whom they can share both halves of their lives!

My Opinion: This manga is abosolutely funny! I love Hori and her personality and I adore Miyamura and how sweet he is! The two put together is just absolutely funny and they make the best couple. The chapters can be rather short though, so I'm a little disappointed about that because usually mangas have at least over 30 pages to a chapter but this could have up to 20 pages a chapter and might go higher at times. Still, though, even with short chapters it is a very funny manga and it's very enjoyable.

Favorite Character: I have to say the father by and far! I mean he's so funny when he comes to teasing Miyamura and then it's funny how every one treats him, especially the way Hori can treat her own father. I love that he can also gets along well with Miyamura ^_^ I also feel bad for him because his family can be rather harsh with him but he's just so funny! Man I have so many things about him that happened in the manga that are just so funny but I don't wish to spoil anything. So read the manga! You'll see how funny he can be!

Favorite Couple: MIYAMURA AND HORI!!!! They are the cutest couple, totally funny together and oh my gosh! There is one chapter that was just totally hilarious (Chapter 32)! I can't see Hori with anyone else and I don't want her to be with anyone else and the same with Miyamura, I just can't see him with anyone else either. These two are just perfect together ^_^

I don't think that there hasn't been a chaper where I either didn't smile or even crack up laughing and people looking at me weirdly for the sudden burst of laughter (oh gosh I even get some of those bad moments to laugh like something seriously bad happened but I'm not paying attention and I burst out laughing about something that happened in the manga and people are looking at me like I'm so crazy...). I can't even remember being rather bored reading this like there are just some mangas where one chapter is just rather boring and you know, not too interesting you just want it to get back to the interesting moments like maybe more sweet moments between the couple of the manga or something. Each chapter has been rather amusing and funny.

I actually found this manga a long time ago, read it and then put it to the side as I waited for a new update but then forgot about it. One night, I suddenly remembered the storyline to the manga but couldn't remember the name to the manga. I eventually found it though and so glad I did, this manga is so amazing. I actually didn't realize this was the manga I read so long ago until I started reading it and I was like "OH MY GOSH!!! I FOUND IT!!!" (Yeah, my friends were around me when I shouted that and gave me a weird look and were confused about what I was talking about...) I don't know where this manga is going to go exactly but I'm really hoping the author continues to write this story with how he (or she?) is going with it (just random days and random events but all so funny). I don't ever want this manga to end either because it is just too funny. If you're looking for a good romantic comedy romantic manga, this one will be good to try out! It's funny and adorable!
