Bokura Ga Ita (Anime and Manga)

Plot: The start of high school life. To the girls, that also meant the start of their love lives. For brand new first year student, Takahashi Nanami (Nana for short), it was no different... She happens to end up in the same class as the incredibly popular Yano Motoharu, who rumors say that two thirds of all the girls are guaranteed to fall in love with. But will that hold true for Nana, who says that if she had to choose between like or dislike, she'd say she dislikes him!?

My Opinion: This manga/anime was really amazing and sad too. I loved it very much and would recommend it to anyone. The story of Nana-chan and Yano is very nice. I enjoyed all of the happy, funny and sad moments. I just wish the anime was longer and continued with the second half of the story. The anime stops at half way and chapter 32 in the manga continues to where the anime left off. I didn't read all the chapters to the manga because it was quite close to the anime so I skipped to chapter 32 and read from there because I just wanted to know what happens with the rest of the story.

My Favorite Character: Nana-chan is my favorite, she is adorable and funny in her own little way. There were times where I would think "My goodness I would never have the courage to do that!" when I read how she does a few things or say somethings that were sweet and just saying her honest feelings while there were are other times when I wish she was courageous like she was in the beginning and would follow her heart and feelings like she did before.

My Favorite Couple: YanoXNanami! Nana-chan and Yano look adorable together and are so cute together but also Yano's friend Takeuchi was sweet and if Nana-chan went for him, I would have been alright with it but I prefer Nana + Yano = Yana! ^_^

I enjoyed the anime and the manga and loved how the manga ended but at the same time I wished it continued a little longer. It was sad, funny, and very nice. I really hope to wach the live action in English subtitles. I think the live action will be as wonderful as the series and just by seeing the trailer to the movie,I know it is going to be wonderful. I seriously watched that trailer over a thousand times, making myself get all excited and dying to see the movie.

If you are looking for a good romance that has a bit of complications and the that two are always seeming to hit a rough time in their relationship, I honestly would suggest this. If you seriously enjoy relationships where they are together then break up then together again!
