Chapter 11

The flow of the kiss was slowly getting intensify and the mood was getting hotter as the minutes passed by.

'Is this the right thing to do? How can there be a sudden change with someone you've literally fought with half your life....'

You caught the kiss and slowly pulled away from him.

He looked up at you with a questioning look; "What's wrong?"

"W-we can't do t-this" You stammering said looking away.

"But why?"

"We just can't do this Yoongi, i mean we don't see eye to eye and just suddenly this is happening, is just feels wrong" You slipped out from his hold and stood up to your feet.

"Jae hold on! " He stood up grabbing your wrist "But you said it was fine"

"No it isn't ! This is just our emotions getting the best of us.... I don't want to get hurt after this is over" You removed his hands and took a step backward.

"Jae"

"I don't know how to explain this but am scared that after everything we will go back to how we used to be. I don't know this feeling that is building up within me but i know we really have to end this right now before it further escalates." You said trying to act all tough but you are tearing apart inside. 

​​​​​​"Jae you have nothing to be scared of! Please give me a chance"

"How can i give you a chance when you are in love with someone?" 

Yoongi facial expression changed trying to understand what you were talking about.He fathom when he ever loved somebody else aside you .

"What do you mean Jae?"

"Tae already told me about your little love story, how you are head over heels for an unknown girl for a year now"

If someone were to hear you now, he will mark you as a jealous girlfriend because right now you were acting like one.

"Aiish Taehyung and that he's babbling mouth" He muttered to himself but you kind of heard it.

"Well thanks to him i got to find out if not i will still be building castles in the air" You said in the most sarcastic manner.

"N-no Jae is not what i mean, you totally have the whole thing misunderstood" His words were hitched and he had no idea on how to explain this to you.

"Well care to explain because i don't see any misunderstanding in this"

"Look Jae is true am crushing on someone but it have no reason to affect this"

"Glad that you are even admitting to it" You huff and looked away. 

He walked closer to you and took your hands firmly despite your resistance but you shyed away from him.

"What i meant is that it can't affect this because they one I've been crushing on is you"

"What ?" 

Your head snapped up at him with eyes widened up as you tried recovering from the shocking word that slipped out from his mouth.

"You heard me Jae.... Is the truth, the one i have been crushing on is you" He ruffled his hair not knowing where to start 

" I know is insane and i am probably sounding like a mad man but you've got to believe me. I don't know how it started, i just found myself one day taking a liking of you, secretly looking for you.... I started feeling jealous when i see you been friendly with other guys. Considering our not so good terms, i didn't know how you will feel if i walked up and said this to you. I kept it hidden because i was scared that you will fully despise me and cut every relationship we kind of share. I decided that not telling you will be better off, atleast i will still get the chance to see you and hear your voice through our bickering but little did i know that not telling you will slowly tear me apart ” He paused for a second letting you digest the shocking words "I know this is way too early and it may sound cringy but i will still say it, I Love You"

​​​​​​You hysterically blinked at him not knowing what to say.

If there is a word far beyond shock, that will be the best term to describe the blowoff you just received. Your mind battled trying to put this things together but the more you try, the deeper the understanding runs away from you

"I know it is hard to let it all in now and i understand if you need time to take in everything but please Jae give me the chance to create new memories with you"

"I- i am so speechless as it may be, i never expected this. Seriously i don't know what's wrong with me, hearing you confess really got me blown out. You are right i do need time to clear my mind and know what really works for me... Am sorry"

Yoongi firmly nodded his head in understanding; 

"I understand! You really don't have to feel sorry Jae. Am glad knowing i got the chance to confeess to you and getting this out my mind is really a big relief and it kinds of feel comforting" He gave you the heartfelt gummy smile of his that you couldn't help but return.

You really want to say yes and accept his proposal but you aren't the type to rush into things without giving it a strict thinking.

"Enough of the talking, remember you are still a patient and this lot's of talking won't be good for your health, come on and finish your soup so that you can take your medicine" You silently let him drag you to the bed sitting you down.

"Here eat your food before it gets cold" He said placing the plate on your laps.

You nodded and slowly started eating with him watching at you with a smile in his lips and you randomly eyeing up to see him.
