Chapter 22

​​​​​​"Aren't you coming?" 

You stopped on your tracks looking back at the pale male who suddenly halted to a stop the minute he came down from the car.

Is being almost three months since you both started dating, things were good. There were at times catlike fights occur but it wasn't something to go berserk for.

With your relationship already made known to your trusted group of friends , it was no longer a secret but making it known to your family members was another thing, so you've both decided to embark on this second phase of your love recognition.

And today was the day to finally meet your family officially as a couple. Last week Yoongi had the honor to come clean to his parents and been overwhelmed was a simple word to describe how joyous his parents were. Been the dream girl of his mom, accepting you wasn't a difficult one. It was a task set on a plata of goal.

For the first time in a long time Mr. Min and his son had a father-son talk which kind of ended well.

"You may chase your dreams but don't come crying to me when everything doesn't go well as planned, but aside from that good luck! By your act today you've shown me that you are man enough to carry on responsibilities" Those were the exact words of his father to him.

"Yoongi what is it?" You saw the nervous look in his face.

Well yes he was indeed nervous, first how he's going to impress your parents and secondly Park Bo Gum, your brother.

Well not biologically your brother, well like i said you were the only spoilt brat of your family.

Park Bo Gum, your cousin brother 

He was a brother figure to you, three years age gap made him totally protective of his little cousin sis who he has spent half of his life with. For the past ten years now he has been living with your family, due to the busy schedules of his parents he had to live with you guys while his parents focus on their business abroad.

He's family were filthily rich like yours and just like you he is the only child of his family. He has the full access to go live abroad with his parents but he still choose yours over them.

He wasn't ready to let go of the memories he had in this mansion and go live abroad to another man's land where he has no sort of knowledge about their culture and most especially going to a parents that has no time for him. He felt home here and home he must stay. So he made the decision to live in Korea and go visiting once in a while or better still, they come visiting.

'They were his parents and is likely for him to miss them'

"Whoa am nervous and i don't know how they will react if the truth come to light" He said rubbing his lower neck.

"Who are the they? You mean Oppa?" He gulped down his saliva not answering you.

Well you fully understood his nervous state, it wasn't easy. Your family saw the constant bickering of you and Yoongi as playful act and fully accepted Yoongi but that won't be said about your brother.

Yoongi wasn't the only one that had an intimidating aura, just like Yoongi your cousin had the same. He was pale like Yoongi but your boyfriend was paler and not to talk of his death piercing glares he uses to scare guys away from you. 

When they both met, it somehow didn't end in a good note. He always saw Yoongi as your bully but Yoongi never bothered to clarify things but with time he got to know that it was all bark but no bites. His perspective about Yoongi kind of changed but not totally, he always seems more than ready to beat the crap out of Yoongi whenever you both bicker in his presence.

'You were his sister and no one messes with his sister'

"Today is a special day and i don't want him spoiling it for us"

"Come on Yoongi, Oppa won't do anything, he is just like that because he is protective around me and haven seen how you've bullied me all this years, it won't be wrong if he acts up"

Yoongi's eyes suddenly lits up giving you the 'are you serious' look.

"What the fu-!"

"Language" You laughingly cut him off.

"Who? Me? Bullied you? Oh Gosh don't be ridiculous Jae, between the two of us, Who bullied who? Is definitely you of course"

You gasped and chuckled at that;

"What? I was never a bully, Who was the one that always goes around putting on a grumpy and poker look whenever he sees me?"

"Then who always goes about running her sassy mouth and always trying to annoy me?" Here comes again with their cat and dog argument.

They both never cease to amaze me, always ready to cat fight anywhere, anytime and whenever.

'Once a cat and dog will always be a cat and dog'

A voice clearance was heard quickly stopping you both on your tracks. There stood the handsome, tall and pale cousin of yours. His brows were furrowed as he look at you both bicker once again. His gaze suddenly turned to Yoongi who was just standing there;

"Fighting again?" His words were made for Yoongi, it was more like 'bullying her again'

"OPPA!!!"

Ignoring the question your eyes lit up as you quickly raced into a bone crushing hug with your brother who you have haven't seen for the past months.

His face quivered with joy seeing you racing to his embracing, he wrapped his hands around you as he hugs you in a very lovingly and protective manner.

"Ahhh my little sis" He pats your hair nuzzling his nose against your hair. It felt so good to be in the embrace of his sister once again.

He frees you and smiled cheekily;

"How are you my little pumpkin?"

"Oppa i missed you!" You whined snuggling into his embrace again.

He smiles and hugs you again;

"Awww i missed you too but we keep in touch, right?"

"Yeah but i still missed you! The last time i came home you weren't around, you were in America" You whined against his cloth looking up at him with a pout.

"My cousin is such a baby" He smiled and using one hand he pinches your cheek "Oppa is sorry! Well am here now and i brought something back for you... Am sure you will like it" He announced.

Yoongi on the other hand was watching you been so cute with your brother, he couldn't help but aww at the sight. It has always been the case with you. To others you were a wild lion ready to devour any soul that comes your way but to your brother you were just a whiny cute and innocent baby.

"What's he doing here?" His gaze turned to Yoongi eyeing him.

"Well Oppa i have something to tell you but it has to be inside, come on let's go" You quickly said dragging him along with you but he stopped on his tracks coming face to face with the shorter guy.

"Oppa let's go" Seeing the aura you dragged him further in to avoid any unwanted bickering

Yoongi heaved a sigh of relief seeing him gone and he needs no soothsayer to tell him to tag along.

'Seems like our Yoongi has found his match'
