Kagaya walked behind Thana holding her hand tightly. His worried eyes looked at everything in his surroundings. To say he was nervous was one this. He was terrified. This place was huge and there were so many others around. All eyes were on him. Seeing how close he was to Thana made the others look at him confused. And he was an upper moon for her. How did such a scared demon become a moon? And if he is a moon why he so close to his master. The other moons weren't this close to Muzan.
But that didn't matter. The demons welcomed him, if the princess of demons has a moon like that he must be really good.
Master is too kind to me. He thought. No no not master mother. He mentally scolded himself.
Thana smiled at hearing his thoughts he's trying so hard. She held his hand slightly tighter as they walked the halls.
The old pillars looking at their old master. The ones that had hopped they would still will lost hope at seeing their old master like this.
"Mast-mother where are we going?"
"We're going out my son." Thana stopped and kneeled down to look him in the eyes. "We have some business to attend to"
Kagaya nods and Thana gets up. The continued walking until the reached the main room. Kagaya left go of Thana's hands as she went to her wife and daughter.
Mitsuri looked at Kagaya her eyes widen a bit. She looked back at her wife who was holding her child tight.
Mitsuri looked back at Kagaya. She could see the worry in his eyes. She motions for him to come over. As he did he could feel himself tremble.
Mas- m-mothers wife. He thought to himself as he got close to her. He say on his knees about to bow until he felt Mitsuri's hand his face.
"Darling..." she said looking at Thana.
Thana looked back at her. Her eyes said it all. Mitsuri smiled.
"Welcome my son." Mitsuri said.
Kagaya eyes shook a bit he felt as if he was going to cry. Thana put the little bundle in her arms back into Mitsuri.
"Your sister" she said.
Kagaya's eyes brightened looking at the little girl.
Sister?
He's always had a soft spot for kids.
"Now love we are going to be gone for a bit not too long."
Mitsuri nods. With a tap of Thana's door they were out of the infinity fortress.
Thana walked slowly taking in the night air. She needed this break from the lab. Hopefully she'll be able to find Lamprocapnos flower. And hopefully she'll be able to get that cure done. They're just not many around people like them too much.
She walked into the village Kagaya close behind her. Kagaya in awe of all the colours. Thana smiled.
"Awe love." she smiled. Kagaya smiled. The first smile since he was turned. It made Thana's heart soft. Her son was happy.
"Mother?"
"Yes dear?"
"Why are we here?"
"Mitsuri wanted me to get a few things is all"
Kagaya nods. He smiled the air. The small of fresh bread filling his nose. His mouth watered he didn't notice how hungry he was.
Thana noticed. "Dear how about you go get something to eat" she handed him some money.
Kagaya did a quick bow as a thank you and ran off like a child in the crowd. Thana continued her shopping. Her daughter needed new clothes.
Kagaya managed to find something to eat and walked into an ally to get away from the people. He looked up to see a girl on the ground. She was getting yelled at by two people that looked to be her parents.
Kagaya paused he hated the yelling it was loud. The girls crying broke his heart.
M-mother he thought.
In the blink of an eye Thana was next to him. Her pupils turned into slits no longer that human like. She gripped the two peoples shoulders.
The two stopped yelling.
"Who so you think you...." The man looked at Thana fear showing on his face "are?"
The girl ran to Kagaya. Kagaya covers the girls eyes as Thana ripped the two apart brutally. He had never seen her like this before, it scared him. He turned away not wanting to look at what was happening.
A soft whimper left his mouth and the movement stopped. A blood covered Thana softly gripped Kagaya's face and wiped away his tears.
"It's ok, it's over, I'm sorry" she said. He nuzzled into not caring about the blood.
Thana looked back at the little girl.
"Darling it's alright now they won't ever harm you again." she said the girl looked at her. He soothing voice calmed her.
"T-thank you miss?"
Thana smiled." mother call me mother my upper moon two"
Kagaya eyes widen and he smiled a new sister.
The girl hugged Thana.
"What's your name dear?"
" Ophelia mommy!"
Thana smiled "well then Ophelia , let's get you settled in to be like us." Thana cut her finger.
"Do you mind dear?" Thana asked looking at the food that Kagaya had. Kagaya give it so her as she let the blood flow into it. Ophelia ate it. She slowly started to change. Pain engulfed her body as she passed out. Soft white rabbit ears sprout from the top of her head.
"Now then let's go home"
Kagaya nods grabbing the bag that Thana had then her hand. She tapped her foot and the ground opened.
A few hours passed and a bright and happy girl ran through the halls after Thana's younger siblings. She pulled Kagaya along since she was her brother. She looked like a white rabbit but she was far more than that. Her bright purple eyes glowed with happiness.
"Be careful with your brother now Ophelia ."
"I will mama" she replied and kept running.
Thana chuckled.
