Chapter 26 : Where We Began...

(A/N Before we start there is something that I want to tell all of you. That is that I have another book that'll be used for polls, questions, announcements etc. Just so my stories are a bit more tidy and are  without unnecessary chapters)

3rd POV

Everything was still, and everything was quiet. No one moved a muscle, nor said a word. Silence, that was all that was heard. Z23 was embracing (Y/N) with everything she had and her eyes were sealed shut. (Y/N) was confused. "Why was this girl hugging me?" "Who is she?" "Why does she seem so familiar?". These were just some of the thoughts that were rushing around in his mind.

(Y/N) POV

I looked down at the girl that had just hugged me, I had no idea what was going on. Everyone that had just been fighting and shouting were now just... still, kind of like statues. Was this some kind of trick. It had to have been, no one would just run at someone in the middle of a battle and hug them, right? I began to try and push her off of me, but to no avail. She just clinged to me tighter, like a baby sloth, desperate to hold onto its mother so it didn't fall to the jungle floor. I try again but to no progress, again but the same outcome occurs. I just didn't understand, why was she hugging me, I was just about to kill her and all of the others behind her. Yet she hugs me? But this girl did make me feel something. It wasn't confusion, frustration, or even anger. It was curiosity. This girl looked so familiar, but I didn't know where I had seen her before. As far as I can tell this was the first time either of us have interacted with one another. 

??? : P-please... Kaiser... Come back.

There it is again with the feeling of familiarity, and having absolutely no idea why it was so. I tried to remember as much as I could, but I couldn't. I didn't remember this girl. But that name she called me. Kaiser. It was familiar, I remember hearing someone call me it before. I tried again, but this time with the name 'Kaiser'.

FLASHBACK

I was walking in the middle of the ocean to wherever, I had forgotten. I look to my left and see a girl, she kind of resembled the girl that was hugging me now, the only thing is that I couldn't see her face. It was covered in a tar like mist. The girl then spoke.

??? : Kaiser

Me : Kaiser?

??? : That's what my nickname for you will be, Kaiser.

Me : Oh, ok then.

Kaiser huh? I like it.

FLASHBACK END

That girl, sounded like the girl that was hugging me now. Is this related somehow. I try to think back on any other memories I could think of. And the, I found one.

FLASHBACK

I look to see myself running, from what you ask, I didn't know. I turn and see a younger version of the girl from my previous flashback, but something was different. That something was that the mist had seemed to clear up a bit.

??? : Stand still you.

I look over my shoulder and shake my head saying no. 8 was about to turn around before I tripped over something.

??? : (Y/N)! Are you OK?

I get off the ground and sit down to check on my knee, it was scraped and bruised a bit but I'd survive. I nod to say I was fine.

FLASHBACK END

This girl that was hugging me definitely had something to do with why I can't remember anything, I try again tor find anything that could mean something.
