Chapter 24 : ...Breaks Loose

3rd POV

Z23 was shocked at what she saw. In front of her was the person she thought would take ages until she saw them again, the person who was her friend since childhood, the person who she loved, (Y/N). But something was different about him. His face was that of ones who had no life to them, his blank stare with very minimal blinking inbetween. That wasn't the only thing however, it was his eyes. His once vibrant (E/C) eyes, that almost seemed to be orbs, were now a glowing golden yellow. The same kind of yellow that the sirens had.

Z23 : (Y-Y/N), w-what are you doing?

(Y/N) didn't say anything, nor did he move in any sort of way. He only had his cold, solemn stare plastered on  his face. The women beside him then spoke up.

??? : Almost had them, oh well. Young girl, what is your name?

Z23 : It's Z-

Enterprise : She is under no obligation to answer your question, siren!

Enterprise interjects Z23 as she was about to answer the question given to her by the siren.

??? : Oh? I am sorry but I do not believe I was talking to you.

Enterprise : It doesn't matter, identify yourself!

??? : How rude, first you interrupt me and then demand my name.

Enterprise's scowled and pulled back on her bowstring while aiming at the siren.

??? : I would like the answer to my original question, thank you.

The siren was clearly getting irritated by Enterprise's actions.

Enterprise : I will only ask you one more time, identif-

Z23 : My name is Z23.

Everyone then turned to Z23.

??? : Oh, I believe I've heard that name before, but I can't quite remember.

The siren then shakes her head and turns to the the Azur Lane girls, she looks at them with a chilling look.

??? : I suppose it's only fair.

She then does a sort of snobby smile with her a hand on her chest, the other on her hip with her eyes closed.

Empress III : My full name is Arbiter : Empress III, but please, just call me Empress. I am the leader of the siren faction.

She opens her eyes to look at them again.

Empress III : And I shall also be your demise, but first.

Empress III clicks her fingers.

Empress III : (Y/N), if you could be so kind as to remove these pests for me, that would be greatly appreciated.

(Y/N) nodded his head as he stepped forward, unsheathing his katana. Enterprise readies her bow once again for a duel.

Enterprise : I won't be defeated.

(Y/N) dashes towards Enterprise, trying to close the gap between them and gain the advantage. He reaches his opponent and attacks her abdomen but misses. Enterprise takes this opportunity to strike with some arrows but misses due to (Y/N) dodging, he them immediately pulls out his Type 100 and guns down the arrows that had transformed into planes and faces Enterprise again. (Y/N) then runs at Enterprise again, but has a different tactic this time. Enterprise attempts to dodge but is tripped over when one of (Y/N)'s dragon heads swipes her feet from under her. Enterprise is now on her back and her bow is out of arms reach, she attempts to pick herself up, get her bow and continue the fight, but (Y/N) had different plans. Before Enterprise could blink, a katana was at Enterprise's throat with (Y/N) giving a remorseless stare.
