(Y/N) POV
It was early in the morning when I woke up, about 06:05. When I woke up, I went to the kitchen to see Kaga looking around the kitchen, probably for breakfast. I then go in and start looking in the cabinets with her.
Me : So, what are you looking for?
Kaga : Hmm, oh (Y/N) your up. I was just looking for some syrup, oh I think I found it.
Kaga pulls out a bottle of syrup. When it comes into the light, we saw it was basically empty with only a few drops left at the bottom.
Kaga : It seems we're out if syrup. Excuse me (Y/N), could you go down to Akashi's shop and pick up another bottle. Oh and while your there pick up another bottle of milk, we seem to have almost ran out of that also.
Me : You got it mom.
I go back to my room to put on my clothes. I put on my trousers, I slip on my gloves, I put on my sleeved shirt and then trench coat, I buckle up my boots and put on my hat and mask. I'm about to leave before I look at Z23 sleeping on an improvised bed, we slept in the same room last night (separate of course) because I insisted she shouldn't have to sleep on the sofa.
Me : *mutters* God she's adorable when she sleeps.
I leave the room and pick up the money mom prepared for me to buy the milk and syrup.
Me : I'll be back soon.
I leave the house and slip my mask down so no one can see my face as I walk to Akashi's shop. I see a couple figures on the ocean in the distance. Must be the patrol. I arrive at the shop as I see Taihou leaving with a full bag, it's just me and Akashi.
Akashi : Hello there (Y/N), what can I get for you today nya~.
Me : Hey Akashi, I'm just here to pick up some milk and syrup.
Akashi was another person that knew I was a guy. It was when I was younger, about 12 years old, mom thought it would be best for her to know so here we are now.
Akashi : Coming right up nya~.
She gets a bottle of milk and syrup off the shelves behind her and put them on the countervand ring it up.
Akashi : That'll be 25 coins nya~.
(A/N I don't know what currency they use in Azur Lane so I'm just gonna use the coins from the game)
I give her the full amount and set off.
Akashi : Oh before you go nya~, If you see a cat running around, let me know nya~. I swear Shiranui doesn't know how to take care of cats nya~.
Me : Alright, I'll keep an eye out for them. Later Akashi.
I leave the shop and return home.

We were just finishing breakfast and cleaning up. We then started to play board games until Z23 struck up a conversation.
Z23 : So, I was wondering if I could walk around the base to get to know my surroundings a bit more.
Kaga : Yes, that would be a good idea.
Me : I'll show you around aswell if you want, there are a few places here that I would love to show you.
Akagi : *mutters* She's already been in your bedroom.
Me : Sorry, did you say something Akagi.
Akagi : Hmm, oh I was just talking to myself about how your already making your moves on Z23 here.
