A little back-story!

You were Bilbo Baginns' little sister, Y/N Baggins. When Bilbo was offered to join The Company of Thorin Oakenshield on their great quest, you wanted to go too, but Bilbo was very much against it, concerned for your safety as any loving older brother would be. When Bilbo left with The Company, you went with, but nobody knew. Except Gandalf. He'd noticed you as soon as you tiptoed your way behind them, and even put you on his horse to ride with him. He knew how much you wanted to go on this adventure, and he knew you and your special skills would come in great use, so he joined in on your plan. He kept you hidden underneath his coat, until you were discovered by one of the dwarves. Bilbo nearly went mad, but Gandalf convinced him to let you join them and swore to protect you in all the great danger. And so he did. And so, you signed the papers and joined The Company on their quest. All went well, the dragon was defeated, and the treasure had been reclaimed. You and Bilbo returned home, to The Shire safe and healthy. On the quest you'd made friends with a certain dwarf. Bofur. You two were inseparable. And so, every year, he'd come around to The Shire to visit you, usually for your birthday. You didn't get to spend much time with him, but you cherished every moment.

On your 40th birthday, 5 years after you returned from the great quest of The Company, Bofur visited you to stay for a couple of days. You and all the other guests enjoyed the celebration greatly, but all you really wanted to do was spend some time with Bofur, since you knew before long he'd be gone again. And so, whilst hanging out you decided to play around a little. You snatched his hat off from the top of his head and ran away with it, refusing to give it back..

"You can't catch me!" you yelled at your dear dwarf friend who was running after you. You managed to snatch his beloved hat off his head and ran away with it. You ran into the forest, ran as fast as your hobbit feet would take you, and you ran much faster than him.

You looked at him over your shoulder, another laugh escaping your lips as you waved his hat in the air. You reached a beautiful clearing in the forest, flowers blooming everywhere. You stopped, taking a moment to look around and admire your surroundings. You walked a bit further, reaching a small forest stream. You followed the water upstream and it led you to a small waterfall. You smiled at the sight and looked behind you. No sight of Bofur.

You decided to sit down and take a break. You crossed your legs, sitting on the soft grass. You looked at Bofur's hat still in your arms and giggled. You hugged it, breathing in the scent of him before putting it on your own head. Soon, you started to become bored and tired from all the running. You laid down in the field of flowers next to the stream and decided to nap. The sun was shining through the branches and on your face, so you pulled the hat over your face.

Meanwhile you were resting peacefully, Bofur was going out of his mind looking for you. "Y/N?" he called and called but got no reply. He started to get worried. He didn't care about whether he'd get his hat back, he only wanted to find you. He soon reached the forest clearing and the stream.

Bofur was running very short on breath, so he decided to rest and maybe take a sip from the clear water stream. As he neared the water he saw footprints following up the stream. He immediately recognized it was you, and ran along the tracks until he saw you resting peacefully, holding onto his hat.
