Caitlyn POV
It was barely morning when I got up and dressed myself. I made three lunches and breakfast, before I woke the boys. 'Come on, sleeping heads.' I said opening the curtains of their bedroom. I dressed them and carried the still half sleeping Carl downstairs. 'Cody eat your breakfast.' I said, shaking him. Both boys had trouble getting up at morning so it was an everyday struggle to get them to school in time, then get back home to drop of my bike and then come in time for my own school. My school was to far to drive on bicycle so I would have had to take the bus, if James didn't spot me.
I fed Carl his meal despite his refusal to wake. I pulled Cody of his seat and toward the hallway. I putted Carl down and worked both boys in their jackets. I dragged them to the shed and on the bicycle. I delivered them to their teacher , who was waiting outside the classroom. I hugged them and sat down next to Cody. 'Now tomorrow, you will wake up, before we arrive at school right?' I asked teasingly. I gave the sleeping Carl to his teacher and kissed Cody goodbye. He giggled, hugged me and waved, as I walked to my bike. I got up the bike and waved back.
When I came back to the house, James was already waiting outside. He leaned against his car and smiled at me. 'Good morning, beautiful.' He said, pulling a bundle of flowers from behind his back. they where beautiful white roses. 'I looked it up, they mean: trust me.' He said. I was touched and took the flowers from him. 'Come on in. I'll put them in water.' I pulled the vase my father had given me for my fifth-tenth birthday out and arranged the flowers.
James POV
It took al my self-control to leave Caitlyn alone. Her beautiful eyes sparkled in the summer sun. 'Lets go.' Her sweet voice calmed my nerves. We walked hand in hand to my car. I turned the radio on and told her to pick a CD. She went through the CD's lying in my car and pulled out the single one I didn't like. It belonged to Randy and she forced me to listen it. it was a downloaded CD from her favourite TV show. Glee! She drove me insane with the boring details of who dated who again. Now even my mate liked it. 'You know. This is my favourite number, of the entire show.' She said, as the first notes of "Telephone" blew through my speakers. She danced on the beat and I couldn't help but smile. We pulled up in front of the twins house. They came walking outside and jumped on the backseat. 'Hey, you're finally listening to Glee.' Mandy said. I smiled. 'Nope, Cat picked the CD.'
I regretted saying that seeing all I heard for the rest of the hour was, what a bitch some Sue was and a discussion which guy was more sexy. 'I'm telling you. Puck is the most sexy...' Caitlyn started. My wolf growled and I allowed the sound to escape. 'Finish that sentence and you can walk the rest of the way.' I said angrily. 'guy on glee, but off course James is way more sexy.' She quickly finished, patting my arm. 'Nice save.' Mandy giggled.
Randy seemed to think and as soon as Warned got in the car, she said: 'No, I still think Sam is so much sexier.' I knew she had a crush for Warner and figured she was testing his feelings for her. It worked thought. He sat up straight and demanded to know who Sam was. 'Sam is a character from Glee.' Mandy said, giving Randy a wink. Randy blushed and grabbed Warner's hand. 'Are you jealous, Warner.' She asked. 'Off course he's not. He has a thing for Heather, remember.' I said. That would teach them to play with a guys emotions. Warner looked at me like I was insane. 'That was when I was four, dude. I'm looking for my mate, just like you.' He said. 'nope, I found mine.' I contradicted him. He looked at me in shock and then at Cat's arm that was still on my arm. She blushed as everyone in the backseat started screaming.
Caitlyn POV
The day quickly past and as it past I grew more nervous. What would James think of my brothers? What would they think of him? It was essential for me that they would get along well. By the time I picked the boys up, my heart was pounding in my throat. 'Hey guys, were going to the park would you like that?' I said. They cheered and so we drove to the park singing and talking. When we arrived, I saw James near the ice stand. When he saw us he waved. 'Cody, Carl, this is a friend of mine. His name is James.' I said, Carl grabbed my leg but smiled at James and Cody just looked at him.
James looked utterly uncomfortable and a silence fell. 'Well, I have four ice coins, but I can't eat four ice creams. Do you know who can help me?' He finally asked of Cody. 'I can.' Cody said, as if James just asked him to help in a very important mission. 'do you think, Cat and Carl can help too?' James asked looking doubtful. Cody laughed. 'Carl and Cat like chocolate, but I like strawberry.' He said, in his loud whisper. 'Well, in that case. Can we have three chocolates and one strawberry, please.' James said turning to the iceman. Cody glowed as he accepted the ice-cream. 'What do you say to James.' I reminded them. 'Thank you Jay.' Carl screamed, as he grabbed his ice-cream. 'Thank you.' Cody said.
James lifted him and I got Carl. We walked to a bench and sat down. James wiped Cody's face when he was done. They wanted to play, so James bought a ball from a nearby stand. They played football and James and me talked. 'They'll need to go to wolf school on Saturday. They need to learn the pack laws and heritages.' He said. I sighted and looked at my hand. 'I can't take them' I said. James shrugged. 'I can gather them by Mrs. Bones and bring them back there after.' I nodded.
He slid closer to me and grabbed my hand. 'Caty and Jimmy sitting in a three. K.I.S.SI.N.G.' Randy and Mandy sang as they sat down beside us. James gave them a glare and let go off my hand. The moment was gone. Cody and Carl came running to us and James lifted Carl up in the air. 'Come on these two boys need to eat and go to bed.' I said lifting Cody off the floor. I walked to my bike and sat Cody down. James putted Carl in his seat and grabbed an mountain bike from the rack.
Randy and Mandy decided they would eat with James, so we rode home together since James was my neighbour. As we drove down the street I suddenly stopped. A familiar red sports car was with his motor still spinning on the driveway of my house. 'Mandy, Randy, could you please take the boys into James house.' I asked, as I got of my bike. The took the boys and I parked my bike in the front yard. 'Who's car is that?' James asked. I swallowed. 'From my stepfather.' I answered. He nodded. 'Is he the one that hurt you.' I shook my head. 'He couldn't have hurt me, he's human. He just thought I was his servant.' I said, making sure James knew I didn't want to talk about that. 'Is he the father of your brothers?' I opened my mouth to answer, but a wave of red silk and perfume caught my attention. I turned to face her but fell down as a fierce blow crashed in my face. I sat down on the floor and looked up at my mother.
