Pack Law, Book 1, Chapter 19 Paragraph 4.8
Each pack must have a doctor. If one pack doesn't have a doctor they must contract one from a pack. That has more. A pack doctor has to know everything about human and werewolf body. For he/she must care for both werewolf's and their mate's even if those decide to stay human.
James POV
I got out of the car and ran to the front of the car. I kneeled next to the wolf that laid there on the floor. It wasn't one of my pack, but that was the last I was bothered about now. Caitlyn stroked his head and I looked at her a I checked his pulse. 'Lets get him in the car, so we can get him to the pack doctor.' She nodded in silence. She was pale as a vampire. I dragged the wolf to the back of my car and pushed Cat in her seat. I drove more carefully now.
I stopped for the pack doctors house and got out off the car. I rang the bell and stepped back. The door opened and my aunt smiled at me. 'Aunt Miranda. I drove my car against a wolf. He's unconscious.' I wasn't even done talking when she walked past me. I opened the back of my car. In the meanwhile the werewolf was shifted to his human form.
Aunt Miranda felt his pulse and looked at his wounds. I pulled Caitlyn out of the car and escorted her inside, While my aunt lifted the man inside. 'Will he be alright?' she asked. I shrugged not sure what to say. 'He will.' My aunt said. 'Its just that he is weakened or he wouldn't even have fainted. Do you know him?' She continued.
Cat nodded. 'He's my father.' She said, still pale and unsteady. Miranda nodded and looked at me. 'Why don't you call, Bryce too tell him Caitlyn can't come.' She suggested, but Cat jumped up and said: 'No, I have too go. I just can't be here as he wakes up.'
Caitlyn POV
'No, I have too go. I just can't be here as he wakes up.' I said. I looked at James and begged him with my eyes to take me to work. James nodded and said goodbye to his aunt. I said goodbye too and got in the car. I looked outside and thought back too the day dad disappeared.
-Flashback-
'Caitlyn Morris, come here right now.' My fathers voice boomed through the house. I walked down too his office and knocked on the door. He called me in and pointed to the chair that was across his desk. I sat down and looked at the paper in his hand. 'Do you know what this is?' he asked holding the paper up. I shook my head and looked down. 'This is a paper from your headmaster, that you are failing your classes and that you are skipping lessons.' He said angrily. 'I swear too god, if your behaviour doesn't improve...' he threatened.
I started shaking and looked at my hands. I didn't want too tell him off the girls who where putting notes in locker calling me a bastard and more. I knew I wasn't the product of a mating and that made that my fellow pack members didn't accept me. 'I'm sorry.' I said. He sighted. 'Dad, are you ashamed of me.' He looked at me like I was insane and asked: 'What do you mean?' I looked down at my hands and said: 'You know because I'm not a child off your mate and I can't read numbers and stuff.' He stared at me and opened his mouth. 'Well I regret not waiting for my mate, bu..' then his mobile rang and he looked from the phone too me. 'Look I need too take this, why don't you pick up your brothers and we'll talk about this later.'
-End flashback-
James parked his car and I got out and stalked too the kitchen. It was half past six but Bryce didn't seem to mind 'Hi.' He said. He walked me to the kitchen and told me that the restaurant served sandwiched from seven to twelve after which the frying pan went on and you could order junk food, pie's and sandwiches till four. Then from four till eight you could order Spareribs, chicken legs, salad, fries and soup and things like that, 'Most people come to drink though.' He said too reinsure me. 'Thereby the girls will help you.' He said pointing to Randy and Mandy. I nodded and grabbed a apron and pulled my hair in a ponytail. I loved too cook and used too arrange the catering on the party's of my friends so I knew what too do.
'Randy will you cut the tomatoes and unions, Mandy will you get me some hard boiled eggs please.' I got the lettuce and ham, which was already cut in slices and made a sandwich I remembered. The I made a few sandwiches with scrambled eggs on top and a baguette with cheese. Being busy in the kitchen helped me keep my thoughts off things. James popped in the kitchen a few times too check up on me and too steal food.
I remembered a recipe I one thought off of a particular kind of bread I liked. I was something like a chocolate croissant. But the chocolate was worked into the dough first. I made the dough and rolled some chocolate in it and baked the little breads in the stove. James had left the door too the restaurant open and the smell of my breads carried to the customers. Suddenly everybody asked for 'Whatever smells so delicious' and my ciambelle al cioccolato just flew over the counter and I had hard time keeping up with the requests.
When I was done working I was completely exhausted and satisfied. James picked me up and said: 'Hey, listen. I just went by my aunts house and your father woke up. Do you want too see him?' I sighted. 'No, but the boys do. Can we pick them up.' James nodded and started driving. I felt like an idiot. I should be happy he was still alive and I was, I really was, but I was also scared. I haven't seen him for two years and the last he said was, that he regretted having me.
When we came by Mrs. Bones I lifted Carl in the air and said: 'Guess, who we are going to see.' James smiled and Carl giggled: 'Who.' I tickled Cody and said: 'We are going too see Daddy.' I said. Cody sheered, but carl just looked at me and asked: 'Who is Daddy.' I opened my mouth, and closed it again. I completely forgot Carl was two when Dad disappeared.
'Daddy is sweet.' Cody said climbing into James car. I sat Carl down and looked at him. He didn't even remember his own father. 'Come, Cat.' James said as he pushed me to my seat. He drove too his aunts house and knocked on the door. Randy opened the door and hugged me. she waved at Carl and Cody and let us to the living room. I heard my father from far and shivered. James held my hand and smiled at me as I looked at him. As we walked into the room Cody ran by me and jumped on my father hugging him and calling: 'Daddy, you're back.' Carl held my leg in his grip as he looked at his father more interested than something else.
Though my father was an alpha, he clearly had troubles hiding his feeling. He hugged Cody. Carl who always wanted to do anything his brother did, also walked up to them to join the hug. James family excused themselves and left. James stood next too me, but kept silence. My father let the boy go and got up. He looked at me and from me too James who still held my hand in his. Suddenly my act of not caring trembled. A tear escaped. I pulled my hand from James and took a step forward. The silence became uncomfortable. 'My Caitlyn, You're al grown up.' My father said.
