Pack legends, The first Luna

Nobody remembers the name off the first Luna, still her legacy remained. She was powerful her hair was red, the same colour of her eyes in times of war. It was her who decided us wolves would hide from humans for they had no tolerance for anything they did not consider normal. after the big war between vampires and shifters, She laid down her powers, gave her pack to her daughter and retired with her mate the first alpha Ultra.

Caitlyn

I walked around in a dark cave, a big broad sword dangled at my side. an mid-evil chain mail covered my body. "So are you finally here?" A soft voice said. I spun round "Luna."  I said. I dropped on my knees. Her beautiful face seemed to glow. I wanted to say anything, but the word got stuck in my throat. ‘Get up my daughter.’ The voice said. Love and gentleness seamed so  clear in her voice, it made me swallow.I got up, but kept my head down. she chuckled. It sounded, so human that I looked up. Her hair was brown, like her eyes. she smiled at me. ‘Come walk with me, relax, my beloved daughter.’ The tension seemed to ease from my muscles. She grabbed my arm and so we walked arm in arm like best friends. She wore a long brown dress that seemed to match her hair and eyes. My chain-mail disappeared and a jeans and black tank top replaced it. ‘There you go, relax.’ she said calmly. ‘Where are we.’ I asked. She smiled easily. ‘Well, we would be in the portal of your subconsciousness.’ I frowned. ‘Ah, so I am imagining this.’ I said. Luna shook her head. ‘No, my beloved one. this is not a sign of you imagination. I am really here. You see when you started using your full powers you created a bond between us. you know off course you are a direct descended of my first daughter. But my love all werewolves are, but as you don’t know you are the only descended who inherited her special bond with me. When you used your full potential it created a bond stronger, than the bond I have with my other children. I followed that bond when you fainted, to end up in you subconscious mind. It is the only way to warn you for the trouble ahead. your daughter and son have the same possible connection. They haven’t opened it yet, but its there. They too will have their destiny to fulfill. A dark force is working against them as we speak.’ beware of the dark forces, my child. Remember when you look at our moon. You have a mother watching over you love. Don’t forget to greet the full moon, remember who you are.’  ‘Come on, Cat. I need you.’

James

I looked down on the pale faced beauty that was lying on our bed . Al Blood was drained from her face. ‘Come on, Cat. I need you.’ I whispered, my throat hurting from the tears I was holding back. I kept our children in my arms, only letting them go to be changed or fed. My eyes hurt badly. My whole body ached for her. Her breathing was uneven and sometimes her mouth moved a bit. The only word I understood though was: Luna. I groaned and stroked her head. ‘I love you, baby.’ I whispered softly. ‘Heal, take your time. I’ll be fine, the babies are fine, and you’ll be too. Dracula walked into the tent and sat down net to me. ‘For you, wolves its so harder. I’ve buried some brides. I mourned them. I loved them dearly, but I never felt the bond of a true mating, never felt the love you feel. Tell me, Alpha wolf. Is it better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all.’ I frowned thinking. ‘I haven’t lost her yet.’ The count nodded. ‘And you won’t, but you know the fear and the feeling from the past. I frowned as I remembered the pain from losing her. Was it really so short ago? Sighting I looked up to Dracula. ‘I have my children.’ Dracula frowned. ‘That doesn’t replace your mate.’ he stated. I nodded. ‘But its better than having nobody.’ I said, so softly a human would not have heard.

Caitlyn

I looked around. ‘James is calling me.’ I said, suddenly in panic. Luna shook her head and placed her hand on mine. ‘Calm down, love, listen.’  I heard James voice again. ‘Heal, take your time. I’ll be fine, the babies are fine, and you’ll be too.’ Tears dropped from my eyes. ‘He’s hurting. I’m hurting him.’ Luna nodded. ‘Yes, you are. On the other hand he is strong enough to take it.’ she said shrugging. ‘He’s very strong, child. Even for a son of mine. That is why he is mated to you. He is balanced enough.’ I frowned. a sudden thought came to me. If we both descended from her, would that mean we were family.?  She chuckled. ‘No, Caitlyn. It doesn’t work that way. You descent directly from my first children, but James family is created long, long ago, near the beginning, but your lines never crossed.’ I sighed somehow relaxing. ‘But we have more to talk about. listen.’

James

Finally after three days Cat opened her eyes. ‘Where are my children?’ she asked when she saw me. I called Mandy to bring them to us. I sat down next to her and sighed. ‘So.’  I said uncomfortable. She got up and climbed in my arms. Big tears rolled down her face and made paths across her face. Mandy and Randy carried in the twins, Carl and Cody followed. Cathy cried harder and stretched her hand out towards the babies. She clutched them to her chest still crying. ‘What is wrong, my Cathy? What’s wrong?’ She shook her head. ‘Just stress. I think.’ she lied. I could feel the lie in those words, but I could also feel her need to make me believe, so I nodded. She leaned heavily against me and made me sigh. ‘Everything is okay, for now.’ she said. that sounded more like the truth, so I hugged her close. ‘We live now, Cathy. don’t worry about tomorrow.’ We’ll face it together.’ A weak smile crossed her face. ‘Together, how could we not.’ She said, obviously calmed down. ‘Together.’ she repeated again. ‘I love you, James.’ I hugged her closer and sighed. ‘I love you more than live itself, Cathy.’ I said. ‘Will you marry me, Cathy.’ I asked simply. She crawled closer and nodded softly. I hugged her. ‘I’m a bit too late. I suppose.’ I said, chuckling looking at our kids. ‘So come up with names yet?’ I asked, trying to diffuse the tension. she nodded again. ‘Jamila Jasmin after you and the fist Luna and Valentine Vladimir after Saint valentine and Dracula, we must respect the vampires, honey.’

I nodded not understanding where this was heading. She smiled. ‘Well, I apparently need to do a lot of planning, so well better get to it. ‘I assume you two will be my bridesmaids?’ She said to Mandy and Randy who started screaming. I groaned. ‘Can’t we just elope to Las Vegas.’ I whispered in Cathy’s ear. She smiled and nodded softly. ‘No!!!.’ Randy and Mandy screamed together. Cathy laughed, making the babies protest. I grinned so calmly. ‘Don’t cry, JJ.’ I said. She looked up to me and blinked. I smiled at her. I took the children from Cathy, so she could discus the wedding details with the girls. I smiled and tried to give my opinion, not that it mattered they didn’t listen. ‘Come on, JJ and Val, lets leave Mommy to the job, we need to get changed don’t we?’
