"okay uh," lizzie muttered. "that wasn't my fault, was it?" lizzie turned to josie. "no," josie shook her head. "i'll go talk to her." josie said with a faint smile on her face. shit. lizzie thought herself. lizzie didn't do anything wrong. i suppose that's what happens when you crush on the orphan girl with trust issues. "hey," lizzie turns her head to see jed of all people. "oh," lizzie says, confusingly. "hey." jed raises his eyebrows. "you're being obvious." jed winks at lizzie. "excuse me?" lizzie says, straightening her posture. "you clearly have a crush. it doesn't take an idiot to notice." lizzie thought she was dreaming. did jed really just say that to her? how obvious is it? "excuse me?" lizzie mumbled under her breath. jed gave her a smirk before walking away. lizzie's heart pounded. lizzie fixed her posture, took a deep breath and composed herself. jed knows?
hope did not want to be found. she wanted to talk to someone about storming off but she can't. it's stupid. she left for a stupid reason. hope had reached the old mill. the old mill was discovered by lizzie when she was having an episode over a spell quiz. hope fixed her cardigan and sat down in the dried up wood. she let out a deep breath. trying to contain herself from just screaming. why so much rage? hope thought you herself. lizzie barely said anything offensive or insensitive. so why was hope so mad? hope looked up from her fingernails and saw non other than josie saltzman walking towards her.
hope let out a deep sigh. "knew you'd find me," she smiled faintly. josie smiled back with a hint of curiosity. "okay, i have to admit," josie takes a seat next to hope. "i don't think lizzie really.." she looks at hope. "did anything wrong this time." this is a reoccurring thing between the three witches. lizzie says something out of line, hope storms off and josie resolves the issue. but this time, there's not really anything to resolve. lizzie was trying to help with the monster and hope took it.. personally?
hope lets out another sigh. "you're right," she finally says. "there's no reason for me to be mad right now." hope places her hands on her knees and looks to josie. "i suppose i'm just not used to seeing lizzie actually..." she trails off. "try."
