"i left without telling anyone." lizzie confessed. hope raised her eyebrow. "so you're on a mission?" hope giggled. "that's flattering." hope smirked. lizzie took at step back. "oh, of course." lizzie confessed. "my sister needs to be avenged." lizzie took a step forward again. she had a plan, a good one too. she planned on guilt tripping hope enough to make her think that she killed josie. "avenged?" hope sat down. "oh, you haven't heard?" lizzie took a deep breath. trying to create a form of sadness in her.
"josie died late last night."
hope's heart sunk. josie's dead? that's not what she wanted to do. "what?" hope stuttered. her mind was full of memories and memories she wanted to make. a flood of emotions. "you killed her." lizzie provoked. hope looked up from her boots. tears filled her eyes. "that wasn't my intention." hope stood up. lizzie's heart filled with empathy and love. she couldn't be mad forever. seeing the auburn girl shed some emotion was her weak spot.
"it's okay," lizzie walked over to hope. she grabbed her hands. gently and looked into hope's eyes. "i forgive you. you were hurting." hope looked only lizzie's eyes.
she saw a mix of emotions.
hope let go of lizzie's hands. a smile creeped across her face. "well, well, well." hope wiped her cheeks. lizzie's face went cold. "excuse me?" lizzie's voice was unsure and frightened.
"i think i gave a pretty convincing performance."
lizzie was speechless. "josie's not dead." hope laughed. "if she were, i would be too." lizzie's furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "i decided to be smart and link us." hope went back over to the bar counter. "whiskey!" she shouted at the bartender. "you're a lying bitch!" lizzie yelled, her voice full of sadness and rage.
hope put her drink down slowly after taking a sip. "locus abire." hope spelled under her breath. lizzie looked around quickly as people started to leave. "i think you and i should have a proper chat." hope turned around quickly.
"i noticed from the moment you stepped in here you had other plans." hope stated. "you never planned on turning my humanity back on now, did you?" hope asked. intimidated by hope's ruthless actions, lizzie answered her question with complete, utter honesty. "yeah, i did." lizzie crossed her arms.
"what were they?"
"to kill you with no remorse."
lizzie reached into her bag and pulled out a deep red stake. "it's red oak, or as i like to call it, tribrid kryptonite." hopes head tilted. "that's pathetic." "is it?" lizzie said a little too cocky. hope's eyes widened. lizzie wouldn't really go through with it. would she? "lizzie, think this through." hope suggested. "you wouldn't want to do something you might regret." hope tried to reason. but lizzie silenced hope before she could get another word out.
"motus!" lizzie yelled. hope grunted. "lizzie! think about this!" hope yelled. "imobilus." lizzie said coldly. hope froze in her position. "oh i've thought about this for a long time." lizzie said, completely, and utterly vengeful. hope began to become fearful. lizzie was going to through with it. lizzie positioned the stake. ready to completely lunge it into hopes chest.
but before she did it, she said her last words to hope."i hate you." she said coldly. "i hate you for just being you. for being perfect little hope mikealson. for being my friend. for being more than a friend. i hate you for what you did to my sister. and most of all," lizzie slowly trailed off. tears filled her eyes as she lifted the stake up higher.
"i hate you for making me love you, hope mikealson."
