When between people I let his wrist go and turn to him.
'You should sober up, you have a flight soon.' He says loud enough to be head over the music. 'Not till the evening ends.' I say as I take his hand and swing it back and forth. His skin is soft and warm under my fingertips. I bite my lip and look up at him, stilling my movement.

'Dance then, you looked good doing it earlier.'
My heart skips a beat at the bold words.
But a grin forms on my face.

I move his hand to my waist and step closer.
'Anything for you.'

I start to dance to the music like I did at the beginning.
Moving around and swaying my hips.
Only now, Lando's hand rest on my waist, his body close to mine.
A big difference from him looking from across the room.

When I turn around his hold on me tightens and he pulls me even closer.
I'm flush against him as I move to the music, him moving with me as my hands find their way behind me and into Lando's hair.

'I'm going to miss you.'

The words are spoken softly, but close to my ear.
'I'm not gone yet.'

He turns me around and moves a strand of hair behind my ear.
'It feels like you're already leaving.'
I meet his eyes as he looks down at me.

'I'm not going anywhere till I have to.'

That's when he moves to take his phone out of his pocket.
The screen shows a incoming call, and he glances at me after seeing who it is.
'I should take this.' He says as he takes my hand in his and answers.
He leads me back to the others 'Hey you.' He says after bringing the phone to his ear.
Lando makes sure to get me seated next to Daniel before walking off.

He has a bright smile on his face while he talks, but when he meets my eyes it falls. My eyes lower to the floor as I move closer to Daniel. 'Who is he on the phone with?' Carlos asks. I shrug 'don't know.' I say.
