9. Family Gathering

-Yoongis POV-

I held Jimins hand as we made our way through the mall. Im very nervous because Im finally meeting his family. Its a holiday called 'Reunion' and we are finding an outfit for the small occasion. "Hm, how about this one?" Jimin said holding up a a blue shirt. I smiled seeing the soft material of it and nodded. "I think you will look beautiful in it sweets." I complimented watching him blush. He playfully smacked my arm and draped the shirt on his arm. "Well we have a few good options. Do you want to look still?" He shook his head and I led the way to the cashier. I watched as Jimin paid for our clothes before we went to find something to eat. "Do you think your Father will like me?" I asked once we found a table to sit at. Hes told me so much about his family and Im nervous about what they will think of me.

He nodded leaning over to kiss my cheek and gave me a smile. "He will. You are a major step up from Jay and I think that will make him happy. So relax, be yourself they will love you." He said causing me to smile alittle. Ive never done this before so Im just nervous about it. Ive met his brother briefly before but we never spoke. "Now lets go home. I want to cuddle." He said grabbing my hands with a slight pout. "Okay my Sweet." I said pulling him in for a kiss causing him to giggle softly. I pulled away watching him smile. I laced our fingers together leading the way out to our car. Its been a mixture of things that made my life here in this time period great. Ive learned so much about the way the world works now. The confusing new language and clothes. "Am I boring you?" I snapped out of my thought to see Jimin pouting as he hung our clothes.

I chuckled alittle at his behavior before walking over to him. I wrapped my arms around his waist pulling him in. "You will never bore me. I just got lost in thought baby." I said pressing a kiss to his cheek. I kissed him until he started to smile again. "Cuddles now!" He said grabbing my hand and pulled me towards the bed. I plopped down pulling him in close. He moved pressing a kiss to my cheek before pulling me in for a kiss. Its almost magical how calm I feel when Im with him. Its like hes my safe place, I feel at ease. "We should get dressed soon. Dont want to be late. Ma wont like that." He said pulling away with a pout. I couldnt wait to meet his family, they sound great. He seems to be very close to them all.

I took a quick shower before getting dressed up. I went to get the pie we cooked and placed it in the car. "You look lovely." I complimented seeing Jimin come outside. He blushed tucking his hair behind his ear. "You look beautiful too suga." He said leaning in to connect our lips. We pulled away hearing the sound of laughter. "Kookie was right. You guys are gross already." We turned to see Kim Seokjin standing there with a smile. I leaned againstthe car as Jimin spoke to him. We made our way across the town to a nice cottage looking place. Jimin explained it was his Grandparents home. "Stop that. They will love you. Although I have to warn you. My Aunt is a talker so get ready for her inasive questions." He said pressing a kissto my cheek. I nodded following behind him nervously.

We walked in to the sound of music and laughter. We removed our shoes and coat before walking towards the kitchen. "Oh my baby is here! Come here sweetheart." An elderly woman said wobbling towards us. I smiled watching him get pulled into a hug. "Ma, I want you to meet someone special. My boyfriend, Min Yoongi." He said causing her to look up at me and I bowed respectfully to her when I man walked out. He smiled a very familiar smile and I assume that smile runs in the family. "Hyung this is my Grandpa." I smiled bowing to the man as he held his wife by the waist. "Forgive me, Im not able to bow in return. Old man issues, you will about that in a few years." He said causing the both of us to laugh. I waved him off telling him not to worry. They seemed really sweet.

I greeted the other members of his family and we gathered around the table to eat. "Tell me Yoongi, where did you get your name from? Its pretty unique. Plus being a a Min isnt a common name you hear." Jimins Grandmother said taking a seat beside me. Everyone was scattered sknce the meal was finished. I felt alittle at ease once I spent more time here. They are very welcoming to me. "Im named after an ancestor of mine. My Father always loved that name." I answered watching as Jimin came over to sit with us. "Same as Jimin here. We come from royal descent, hes named after a King." She said peaking my interest since Jimin has never mentioned this. She told me more of this ancestor and alittle more of the history their family has.

We stayed well into the night with his family just talking and playing some games. "Can I have a word please?" Jimins Father said once we got up to get ready to leave. I nodded following behind him. "I just want to thank you. Its been a long time since Ive seen my Son this happy. Im glad he found someone like you. Take care of him." I smiled hearing this and it made me feel better. Im glad I got his approval of me. "I promise Ill take care of him." I said watching him smile. We said our goodbyes and began the drive home. "I told you they would love you." Jimin said once we made it to our room. "Thank you for bringing me. I enjoyed it alot." I said pulling him close into a hug. He giggled alittle leaning up to kiss my nose. I held him steady as I connected our lips together.

He pulled away with a peck on my lips and got clothes to change into. I went to get into my sweats and climbed into bed waiting. Jimin came back in shutting the lights off. "Your Aunt asked me a weird question." I said after awhile of silence. I felt him laugh against my chest before moving to look at me. "What does being a 'top' or 'bottom' mean? I didnt quite understand it so I said I wasnt sure." I said watching his smile fade away. I thought it was an offensive question given his reaction but he just bursted out laughing. "Oh my hell. H-Hyung Im so sorry. Shes crazy weird." He said as he continued to laugh. I was confused trying to understand how it was funny. Like what was she meaning by that? "Hyung those words qhen used like that. It refers to sex. Uh love making." He said causing me to blush abit.

I laid there listening to him explain this to me and I felt like I was having flashbacks. I guess that is what I foumd when I researched what kissing look like. I can never grasp the confusing language of today. The numerous meanings certakn words have. "You okay Hyung? You look traumatised." Jimin said as he laid back down beside me. I shook the images off and turned to face him. "Yeah I am. Maybe one day we can figure those positions out." I stated watching his eyes widen. "O-Okay Hyung. Lets sleep now." He said quietly moving to kiss my lips. I returned a kiss to his forehead wrapping my arm around hum. We laid there in complete silence until I heard the sounds of his soft breathes. I moved slightly to see he was asleep. I kissed his forehead softly allowing myself to fall asleep too.
