New Friend

Even when her punishment was over, Mica didn't go to university. Worried of others' reactions, her own shameful act and everything was so much for her to handle.

Haru knew that Mica is not coming after her punishment was ended so she got her address and went to her home. Mica's parents told Haru that Mica did not want to meet anyone.

But Haru requested them to tell Mica her name. After being told, Mica came running outside and dragged Haru to her room.

They were just quiet and then Haru started the conversation by asking, "Are you okay?"

" What do you think, should I be okay?" Mica replied with question.

"Umm you should be feeling well...,"Haru could not complete the sentence because of Mica started talking.

"I always loved him, since my days in middle school but then you came, and he gave all his attention to you. Don't you think its so pathetic?" Mica was letting out her frustration.

"Keep me aside. But if you love him, why are not you happy with whatever choice he makes," Haru said politely.

"Huh so I should be happy even when person I love, doesn't know I exist or not. Its so frustrating," Mica said.

"Its not like, love is love when you get noticed. Why do we need to exploit such a beautiful emotion. For what I know, Kanashi is like a puzzle to explore for you, and you are frustrated because you can't solve the riddle," Haru said while tapping on Mica's shoulder.

While Haru was going to leave, Haru asked Mica to not skip university anymore. Haru greeted Mica's parents and took her leave.

Mica got so emotional after seeing Haru that she forgot what she did to her before. She was already angry at herself but now she only talked about herself and her so called love instead of asking Haru about her, Mica felt even angrier.
