Breaking Ice

Next day, Mica was waiting for Haru on University gate because she had been restless since yesterday.

"Ahhh great! you came," Haru was so happy to see Mica.

"B-But I...," Mica wanted to apologize but she was also hesitant. Before she could say something, Haru said while pointing to the sky, "See! such beautiful clouds, let's enjoy our studies today."

"Such a weirdo, who wants to read on beautiful day," Mica said showing fake anger. They both giggled and entered the hallway together.

Jay saw Haru coming with Mica, he was going to stand up but Kai stopped him. They were happy to see things going back to normal.

Haru was studying when her phone rang. It was Launa who asked Haru to come to her house in a hurry.

Haru went there and saw Launa who was holding her unconscious daughter in her hands. Her head was bleeding heavily.

" I'm sorry I called you. Actually I didn't know anyone around here," Launa was panicking.

"Don't worry don't worry. Lets go to hospital, She is going to be fine," Haru tried to calm her down. They took her to the hospital and doctor told them that sudden unconsciousness was because of weakness and low blood pressure.

After getting medical treatment, they came back home late. Haru was about to leave when Kusata came there. He was startled to see Haru but then controlled his expression to normal.

"What are you doing HERE?" Kusata was repellent.

"And what are YOU doing here," Haru wanted to make him admit that it was his home. Because he was running away from it always.

"What the... Its MY house," He admitted it, whether because of anger or because he accepted it from the beginning and hiding it.

"Is this really your house?"Haru said in sarcastic way.

"Get out of here," Kusata was not ready to talk about anything. Like always.

"I'm not leaving, you can try it yourself," Haru was not giving up either.

"I need to talk to my mother here so leave," Kusata said it a little calmly this time.

"Why pretend she is your mother when you don't actually think she is," Haru wanted to hammer her feelings as much as she could.

"Stop acting like you know everyone and everything," Kusata gave her a death glare.

"It doesn't matter how you talk about someone if you can't protect them with your actions," Haru told him the reality.

"Why do I need to listen to you when you are not even blood related to me," Kusata gave the blunt reason to justify him.

"Yeah I'm nobody but what about your mom, give her some rights to speak to you," that was only thing she could say to him at last. Kusata was also quiet now.

Finally someone broke the ice that was frozen for many years.
