:Chapter 2

Arish's pov:

"Rish!" Sigaw ni elai saakin habang natakbo "Girl narinig mo na ba?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Ano meron?" She took her phone out and showed me a photo of a girl and a boy in shadow holding hands "What I'm i looking at?" I was really confuse dahil di ko magets kung anong meron sa shadow na yan.

She rolled her eyes and showed me that it was his story "Story ni dwayne yan sa Instagram last night, soft launch na yan girl"

I felt hurt, my stomach is turning akala ko ba hindi pa siya ready? I closed my eyes as I ran to the bathroom.

"Hi, dito ulit ako mag papractice" he said as he went inside my house and started setting up his e guitar

I was just sitting there watching him, I've been avoiding him for the past few days kasi madami nang nag kaka gusto sakanya and I think one of them has caught his attention kaya ako nalang yung umiwas, but here he is.

He looked in my eyes again with that same expression he use to look at me all the time. I immediately looked away from him, baka mas lumalim, baka masabi ko yung hindi niya dapat malaman.

"Can you just tell me the truth, bakit mo ba ako iniiwasan?" he asked me as his eyes glued to mine, here we go again that eyes that makes me weak, that eyes that will get him anything he wants from me.

"I love you, dwayne. It's not close to a simple crush, admiration or infatuation. I love you. I felt it when we were twelve, you bought back the light that I lost when my dad left us, you pulled me out of the dark. You're my escape dwayne, I found peace in you" He removed his eyes from mine as he hugged me.

"Why me?" He asked "It's not because ikaw yung nandiyan, it's not because I was lonely. It's because I love you for you, I love the way smile, I love the way you treat your family, i love the way you try your best in everything, i love that you always make a way in every circumstance just to be here for me, I love you"

"I'm sorry, I can't. Hindi pa ako ready" I cried as I hugged him tight.

If I only knew that's the last time he'll hug me, i should've hugged him tighter, and longer.

Will things be different if I just hid my feelings for him? Are we still okay if I didn't catch feelings for him?.

"Vice president Ybañez, Arish " our president called me making me look at his direction.

Agad ko naman pinunasan ang noo ko papunta sa mata para di niya mahalata na luha ang pinupunasan ko "Yes? President Estrella, Ethan" He smiled "Need your help for the upcoming battle of the bands, dito gaganapin" I pointed at myself making him nod.

"Come on don't reject me need ko ng help mo" i rolled my eyes and walked away from him "Eto naman hahabulin ko pa!" Napaka oa ng taong to.

"Ikaw naman kasi eh sa lahat ng pwede kong itulong sa Glee club pa talaga?" He stomped his feet on the ground as he laugh "You know, I know about what happened" I rolled my eyes as I punched him in the arm.

"Edi alam mo!" sumimangot siya habang sinusundan pa din ako "Pag pumayag ka promise isang buwan, ako na gagawa ng paper works mo sa council" i smirked "One months ah, libre mo na din ako yogurt sa canteen" tinawanan niya ako habang hinihila ko siya papunta sa canteen.

"Namihasa ka naman teh!" sabi niya pag kuha ko ng chips at yogurt "Napaka kuripot mo naman! Yaman, yaman mo eh"

"Bili lang ako soda, wait" ethan said so I just sat there while waiting for him, while i was waiting something caught my attention.

It was dwayne he's with hanna the school's cheerleader, he was opening a bottle water for her.

What hurts me the most is he looks at her the way he looks at me.

They smiled at each other as they look at each other's eyes.

"Wag mo na kasi tignan" Ethan whispered as he sat beside me while drinking his carton of milk, agad ko namang binaling ang atensyon ko sakanya.

Nakita ko na nasipsip siya sa milk carton "Laki mo na nag gagatas ka pa!?" he rolled his eyes.

"Don't judge me, I'm not a book" I laughed when he pouted  "You know you're really pretty naman" I cringed, di lang oa napaka random pa "What's up with the face you're really pretty I swear, crush nga kita eh" I burst out laughing dahil sa sinabi niya, what the actual fuck is he saying?

"Crush ka namin tanga ka! You're not just pretty, you're also smart and dedicated" I pinched him making him groan in pain "Nang damay ka pa! Maka namin ka naman".

"Hindi ako nag bibiro" I stopped laughing and stared at him "Nice" ayun nalang ang sinabi ko making him squint his eyes at me "Ayun lang sagot mo?".

"Sorry for laughing, I just don't know what say" he smiled at me, ang cute ng dimples niya, it's so deep.

"It's ok you don't have to respond I just want you to know" I nodded and smiled at him.

Elai doesn't have any volleyball practice today so she went home with me.

"Na reveal na yung girl sa ig ni dwayne  yung cheerleader pala ng school natin si Hanna Meann Luveros" I sighed, kainis naman to si elai!

"Alam ko, nakita ko nga sila kanina sa cafeteria" her eyes widened as she stop walking Infront of me and held my shoulder.

"Ok ka lang?" I smiled sadly "Syempre teh masakit, he looks at her the he looks at me dati".

"Ano na gagawin mo ngayon?" I shrugged "Edi let go ko na wala na din namang reason para umasa pa ako, I just have to accept na he's ready for other people and not for me"

"All I want is for him to be happy, ayun lang naman gusto ko" sabi ko at inunahan na siya mag lakad.

His happiness means a lot to me, so if being with her makes him happy then so be it.
