:Chapter 10

Arish's pov:

The battle of the bands day came so everyone is occupied.

"Jade tapos na ba yung lists of names ng mga band members ng ibang school?" She shook her head "Sa avelon main camp, di pa na bibigay. Yung kanila nalang kulang" I sighed grabe pala ang stress pag school niyo mismo yung mag ho-host ng big event.

"Pa message nalang ng sc president nila para mabigay na" she nodded and went to the sc office.

After checking the school's quadrangle I went to the avr to check on the supreme band.

"Ano guys kaya?" I asked they all looked at me. They are wearing white polo while others are wearing black ones their style is giving old money type "Ang popogi ah!" they laughed at me "Kami lang to, mananalo mamaya!" Flex saakin ni kean.

Tumingin si dwayne saakin habang naka simangot, two buttons of his polo is unbuttoned, agad ako umiwas ng tingin sa kanya.

"What ever happens guys I'm so proud of you all! Good luck love ko kayo!" They all went to me as gave me a tight hug ang hindi lang yumakap ay si dwayne dahil busy siya sa pag tu-tune ng e guitar niya.

Dwayne-e guitar
Gabriel- vocalist

I saw Dwayne spacing out so I tried to talk to him "Good luck" sabi ko sakanya he nodded as they walk out the avr room to take their things.

Putek pahiya ako, mamaya isipin niya na masaya ako na nag hiwalay sila, mamaya isipin niya na opurtunista ako sa kalagayan niya.

Bago sila mag punta sa backstage nakita ko si Ineish at gab nag yakapan. This is a huge progress for them, dahil hindi ganito si Gab simula ng mawala si Samantha.

Matapos ang ilang minuto nag hahanda na din ang susunod kila gab

The president, me and secretary stayed with the other groups while the other sc members fixed everything.

"Sana may pogi noh!" jade said as she looked around the crowded back stage.

What if mag hanap nalang din ako ng pogi? I decided to look around the crowd, but my eyes landed on dwayne, di pa nga nakakalayo tingin ko siya na agad nakita ko.

There was a lot of people in crowd, but my gaze finds his. I immediately looked away from him and saw a tall guy, he's cute, moreno, chinito. I pointed at him using my lips "Found someone" agad na tumingin si jade.

"Kilala ko yan from avelon main yan, his name is Jeremy Brice Gallano, you can add him on his socmed @JerBriceGllno. He's a basketball player, a guitarist and a business owner" I laughed at her "Grabe naman sa info sabi ko lang na found someone ah" she pinched me a bit making me laugh "Pano mo naman nalaman yang mga yan?" She smirked at me.

"Syempre kapit bahay ko yan eh" I burst out laughing putcha kaya naman pala alam na alam "hmm pogi naman siya"

"For sure he's rich, avelon main ba naman nag aaral" she nodded vigorously "Bata palang yan gusto na siya pag hawakin ng business".

"Uy interested na siya" she poked me making me roll my eyes at her as I leaned in the chair "Ok na maging interested ka sa iba, kesa naman kay ano" my eyes widened "Ano ka ba huy!" she laughed.

"Pero bilib ako sayo, hindi biro ang seven years. Mag kasama na kayo araw araw, simula umaga hanggang sa gabi. Tell me paano mo nakaya yun?" I looked at her smiled sadly "Alam mo magagawa mo naman yun eh, kasi yun na yung dapat, you can't keep chasing someone who just looks back at you to make sure your still chasing. It's tiring."

It's true. Chasing someone is really tiring and chasing makes me look so desperate and pathetic, pero magagawa mo talaga lahat pag mahal mo.

After a few hour nag start na din ang program.

Other School bands is great pero wala pa din tatalo sa Glee club namin.

I just watch them play from a far.

Umakyat na sa stage sila Gabriel earning a loud cheer from the crowd.

Dwayne looks uninterested he just wore the strap and started strumming "do I wanna know" again, earning a loud cheer.

He's good now, he's doing well without me in his life, so now I should focus on my own life.

"Take care" I whispered as we locked eyes, or maybe it's not me he's looking at, so I just turned around and went to the avr room, I just passed time there and left as soon as the president held the mic ready to announce the winner.

"The winner of this year's battle of the band is...."

"None other than, BH main school! Congratulations Supreme band!"

All of the people cheered as the supreme band went to the stage with Gabriel holding their trophy.

Dwayne was looking around while gab was just thanking everyone.

I fixed my tote bag and head out, I'll just congratulate them on monday.
