Arish's pov:
It's been a week since they started their daily practice.
"Pano yan paos si Gab?" Rinig kong tanong ni Jay kay Dwayne "Kahit walang kakanta mag papractice pa din tayo" malamig na sagot ni dwayne.
"Ikaw, kean ayusin mo chords mo" Turo ni dwayne sakanya, kaya napa nguso siya.
"Guys papanoodin ko pa din naman kayo" paos na sabi ni gab sa band mates niya "Yan daldal ka kasi ng daldal!" biro ko sakanya kaya natawa siya "Gaga!"
"Ano nalang siguro guys rest nalang muna tayo ngayon" They cheered, but dwayne didn't. He just stood there to practice in his guitar. Kahit hindi naman siya mag practice magaling pa din naman siya.
"Miss vp marunong ka mag guitar?" Tanong saakin ni kean habang hawak hawak ang gitara niya, ngumiti ako at umiling.
"Meron na akong acoustic guitar dway" he smiled and took the guitar from me.
We decided to chill here sa bluebay kaya dinala ko gitara ko "Marunong ka ba nito?" I chuckled and shook my head.
He sat there in the grass while strumming an intro "Anong song gusto mo?" I smiled.
"Ah 'you'll be safe here' nalang" he smiled faintly as he looks back at the guitar and started strumming.
"Close your eyes dry your tears cause when nothing seems clear you'll be safe here" he look deep in my eyes as I sang.
"Pag aralan mo muna yung mga chords then I'll teach you" I nodded and searched for the chords.
"Here, hold it like this" he sat behind me and placed the guitar.
" C chords" he guided my fingers, I couldn't focus he's so close to me. I could smell his manly scent mix with mint.
"Now, strum" he smiled and guided me through out.
"You did good, practice makes perfect so pag aralan mo lang"
"Hindi naman masyado, i just want to learn" ayokong tumugtog, ayoko nang kumanta.
"Talaga ba arish? Magaling kumanta yan pati mag gitara" Sinamaan ko ng tingin si Gab. Matagal na kaming mag kakaibigan ng mga haliparot na musikerong mga to, kaya alam na alam na namin mga ganap sa buhay-buhay namin.
"Alam mo paos ka na nga ang daldal daldal mo pa din!" Taray ko sakanya making him stick his tongue out.
"Here, sample nga miss vp" sabi ni kean sabay abot ng gitara saakin "Go vp!" Sigaw ni Ethan, I rolled my eyes and held the guitar tightly.
Ang tagal ko nang hindi humawak ng gitara.
I sat in the chair and started playing 'you'll be safe here'

"You'll be safe here" I just closed my eyes and felt the song.
"Why do you love that song so much?" Dwayne asked me "Alin? Yung 'you'll be safe here'?" He nodded and gave me a bottle of water.
"Song ko para sayo" he raised his eyebrows at me while laughing a bit
"Bakit naman para saakin?" Tanong niya at kinuha ang water bottle para buksan.
"I just want you to know na you'll always be safe with me in everything" I smiled and look at his eyes "I want you to know that I want to be your safe person" he smiled and pulled me for a long tight hug.
Tumigil ako nang naramdaman kong tutulo na yung luha ko, ang sakit pala alalahanin, ang sakit pala balikan, ang sakit pala mag gitara ulit.
I immediately wiped my tears and gave kean his guitar back.
"Yoko na, letche kayo" when I looked around I saw dwayne staring at me so I just looked down and fixed random things.
"Diba sabi ko sainyo eh! Maganda boses niya, I love it!" sabi ni gab "Kaya na ba kitang palitan?" Tumawa sila kaya sumimangot si gab "Of course I wouldn't do that, jamming nalang tayo next time pag di ka na paos"
Nag desisyon nalang ako na bumaba sa canteen at dun ko nakita si Ineish na classmate ko.
"Hi miss vp!" Bati niya at binigyan ako ng cookies "Para kay gab to noh?" She slowly nodded.
"Pwede ba na manood sa practice nila?" I smiled at her and dragged her to the avr
Matagal na niyang crush si Gab grade ten palang kami, she already like gab before all of his fame.
Ayun nga lang dahil sa may ibang tinitibok yung puso ni gab di niya makita existence ni ineish.
"Uyyy hi miss Ineish!" Bati agad ni kean pag pasok naming dalawa sa avr.
"Gab! Gab! Gabriel! Kingina!" Patuloy niyang sigaw agad naman na tumingin si gab kay kean at sinamaan ng tingin.
"Napaka ingay mo kean, letche!" asik niya dito, tumingin ako kay Ineish at ngumiti siya saakin. She's actually really pretty with her mid length hair and bangs. Bagay na bagay sakanya, plus her pretty eyes and pouty lips.
"Everyone, she's here to watch kaya please be nice"
Kinindatan siya ni Jay "Hi miss, si gab lang ang available" pag mamalaki niya.
"Walang may pake!" Sigaw ni gab sakanya.
Napabuntong hininga nalang talaga ako sakanila parang mga di nag grade two!
"Upo ka nalang muna dito" binigyan ko siya ng upuan sa harap ng stage para kita niya sila.
"Thank you arish! This means a lot to me" I winked at her.
After the practice wala na akong kasabay umuwi so I had no choice, but to walk to Acadia street again.
While I was walking it started to rain kaya tumakbo muna ako sa waiting shed ng street na to.
Nagulat nalang ako ng makita ko si dwayne na patakbo din papunta dito sa waiting shed naka sabit pa sa balikat niya ang gitara, habang ang bag ay naka sabit sa harap niya.
Tumingin siya saakin kaya umiwas ako ng tingin.
He's so close to me right now, but it feels like we're so far away from each other.
