"I don't want to mess up our friendship, Noelle". Charles said after he had finally let go of that nervous feeling inside of his stomach. "I was so happy to be able to spend time with you again after not seeing you for so long and I remembered how much I valued our friendship before I got busy with racing". He looked at the expression on her face and he noticed she was listening intently when she tilted her head slightly. "But there is something that makes it impossible for me to stay away from you. I just couldn't stop myself". Charles said, lowering his voice, now completely putting everything on the line. He was afraid of her reaction, but as he had gotten used to now, she was open and honest. "I completely understand what you mean. I feel the same.."
