Clinton Kane - Forget About Us:
'Cause I don't know, if I should forgive, should I just forget? 'Cause I can't seem to get what you did. I won't know, if you ever cared. Did you just forget, forget about us?'

"Excuse me miss, are you Noelle Beaumont?" Noelle turned her head when she felt someone place a hand on her shoulder and smiled kindly when she spotted a blonde-haired woman with a notepad in her other hand. She nodded before she extended her hand to introduce herself. "I am, nice to meet you". The nerves were flowing through her body as Noelle had already seen this woman at the end of the runway when she walked it with Sophie, writing things down before smiling brightly at her. "My name is Manon Fontaine and I am a fashion journalist for Elle Magazine. Your collection of dresses stood out to me during this show and I would love to arrange an interview with you for our next issue".

Noelle felt chills run over her arms and she could barely stop her mouth from falling open. 'An interview for Elle? With her?' She felt a slight nudge to her right from Sophie who was standing next to her before she quickly answered. "Y-Yeah, sure. That sounds great". Noelle stammered before the woman handed her a business card and told her she should call her to set up a meeting. When they said goodbye and Manon had left, Noelle finally let her mouth fall open as she had wanted to do much earlier. "Oh my god, Elle!" Sophie said while she was jumping around in between the crowd that was still there before she hugged her best friend. "What just happened?" Noelle said and she covered her face with her hands, the card still tightly clamped between her fingers.

"Congratulations, Elle". Noelle heard behind her and she immediately recognized the voice. The chills on her arms returned and she slowly let her hands fall down from her face before she turned around to face Charles. "The show was incredible and I see even the media thought so". He said, his eyes flicking to the business card in her hand before he slightly leaned forward to give her a hug. Noelle wasn't really sure what was happening anymore, there were too many thoughts running through her brain at the moment but she knew she needed someone familiar to calm her down and Charles was the only person she thought of to do that right now. So she stepped forward to meet him and wrapped her arms around his neck before leaning her head on his shoulder.

"Thanks for coming, it means a lot". She whispered and Charles squeezed her a little tighter as a response. She could have stayed there for hours, the feeling of his body against hers calming her quickened heartbeat down significantly. But there were more people in the room and on top of that: their relationship wasn't like that anymore. Noelle felt the nerves return when he let go of her again, so she quickly turned around to see how Charles greeted Sophie next. It was so surprising how safe she still felt near him after he had just been ignoring her for weeks and it only made the confusion in her head at the moment bigger. Noelle shook her thoughts from her brain when she saw Gabriel and Stephan walking up to them and she showed them a small smile when they approached.

Gabriel gave her a side hug congratulating her before focussing on his girlfriend. "That was amazing". Stephan wrapped his arms around Noelle's neck and pulled her into him and she felt a little hesitant to hug him back, knowing Charles was still there watching them. Noelle placed her hands on the blonde boy's waist, immediately noticing the difference between the hug she had with her ex-friend with benefits and the guy she was dating. She felt Charles' eyes burn in the side of her head when she pulled away but Noelle was too afraid to look at him so she kept her attention on the other people in their circle. They talked for a few minutes while more people were leaving the venue until Charles' best friend spoke up. "We're going to a boat party one of our friends is hosting later, do you want to come?"

Noelle immediately looked for the green hues of Charles, to see if he would be okay with it and she was glad to see he nodded his head slightly to let her know it was fine. They agreed to meet each other in the harbour as Noelle had to collect her stuff from the back before they could leave so they waved Charles and his friend goodbye, the other two boys staying with them. Noelle and Sophie quickly packed everything up before they got in Sophie's car. They arrived at Noelle's apartment first to drop her things off and do a quick change of outfit. Noelle decided on a pair of black shorts with a hot pink satin top, her hair still in the ponytail she had decided on this morning before they left the apartment again.
