♪ Sody - What We Had: 'I know I'm being selfish and I've got no right but I can't help thinking about you tonight. And I don't wanna say it 'cause I know it's bad but I don't want somebody having what we had'
Noelle swiped her lipgloss over her lips while looking into the mirror, rubbing her lips together for the last time while trying to straighten out her dress. Charles had invited them to dinner after qualifying, to celebrate his pole position and they were all really excited to see him. "Are you ready?" Sophie asked when she walked out of her bedroom, the girls getting ready in her apartment and she nodded while looking her best friend up and down. "We need to take some pictures, you look beautiful, Soph!" Noelle said and the girls grabbed their purses to head outside. The boys were picking them up in ten minutes but they didn't want to miss the golden hues of the last rays of sunshine for their photos.
Noelle was wearing a white short cap-sleeved dress with light blue details and she loved the way it hugged her body. There was a bit of cleavage showing and Noelle was a little nervous about it, but after Sophie had said how beautiful the dress looked on her, she agreed to wear it. She paired it with some nude heeled sandals and a matching purse and added some gold jewellery to her look. The girls had just finished taking some photos when the boys arrived. Gabriel got out of the car to greet Sophie and Noelle walked over to the passenger side where Stephan was. "You look handsome". She said when she moved her arm over the fabric of his polo shirt. "Yeah, you look good too". He said while he tried to avoid her gaze and Noelle furrowed her brows while she kissed his cheek. He had been acting so weird today.

The four of them got in the car and made their way over to the restaurant that wasn't that far from Sophie's apartment. When they arrived, they told the waiter they were meeting Charles there and he told them to follow him because he had already arrived. He guided them through the restaurant to a table at the back and when he stepped out of their way, Noelle felt like she was about to throw up again. At the table was Charles, looking handsome as ever in a white button-up shirt and to his left was the girl she had hoped to not see again for a very long time. "Celeste?" Sophie questioned when she saw the blonde girl sitting next to her cousin. "Hi, Sophie! How have you been?" She said and Noelle nearly gagged at the sound of the girl's voice.
Before she could even process what was happening, everyone sat down at their seats, leaving the spot across from Celeste for Noelle to sit down in. 'Perfect'. She thought while she placed her bag over the back of the chair and sat down. "Oh, hi Noelle.." Celeste said and even though her voice always sounded fake, Noelle noticed it in her tone even more now. "Hi, how are you?" She responded and it only took a few seconds before she regretted that decision. Celeste started telling her about her life since high school and how she and Charles had really hit it off at the boat party and Noelle giggled when she spotted her best friend roll her eyes further down the table. "So Charles.." Gabriel spoke up, interrupting Celeste's speech and he lifted the glass of champagne that the waiter had just brought them.
