Chapter 27

After eating, we head out to the main room. Of course Tony had a huge tree put up with crazy expensive ornaments. Steve sorts out the presents so that everyone has theirs. Steve, Bucky, Bruce and Sam were all talking in one area whilst opening gifts. Yelena, Wanda and Carol were doing the same, leaving me and Nat.
"Open it then." Nat says impatiently with a smile.
"Okay okay!" I say, returning the smile. I carefully unwrap the paper of one of the things that Nat had gotten me. It was a small box. I open the box and see a necklace with 'Y/N/N' on it. It was silver. I look up at Nat and smile.
"You like it?" She asks.
"I love it." I reply with a very exited voice. I lean over and kiss her.
"Good." She says in between a kiss.
"Okay, your turn." I say. Nat scans over the wrapped presents then chooses one. It was a similar shape to the one I had just opened, so I know it was the necklace. She unwraps it and opens the box. Nat smiles.
"I guess we'll be matching, huh?" Nat says with a smile. She pulls me in for a kiss. We take turns opening the things we got from each other, we both get each other books. Nat opens the 'pocket hug' key ring. She put it on her keys. Nat had gotten me a blanket and I had one more to open. I unwrap the box then take the top off. I look at it, it was a basketball, but it was signed.
"Oh man. Babe you didn't." I say with a huge smile on my face.
"I did." She replies with a smirk.
"You're the best." I say as I kiss her.
"I know I am." She replies.
"I love you so much." I say after we open each others presents.
"I love you more." She says as she pulls me into her.
"Not possible." I say.
"Are you guys gonna be like that all day?" Carol groans.
"Yes, yes we are." Nat says.
"I'm gonna need another drink then." Yelena says as she gets up.
"I need one too." Nat says. "You want one котенок?" She asks me.
"Yeah please." I say. She gets up.
"Wanda, Carol?" She asks.
"Yeah." Wanda says.
"Might as well." Carol says.
"Alright then." Nat says as she walks away.
"I wouldn't think Nat to be the cliche type." Wanda says as she turns to look at me.
"Shut up." I say with a smile on my face.
"What did she get you?" Carol asks.
"A book, a signed basketball, a necklace similar to the one that I got her and a blanket." I say with a smile.
"Show us the necklace then." Carol says. I pull the necklace out from where it had tucked underneath the hoodie I was wearing.
"It looks great." Wanda says as she takes a closer look.
"It suits you so much." Carol says.
"Thank you. What have you guys gotten so far?" I ask.
"Wanda got me some sneakers and a watch since she thinks I'm always late." Carol says.
"And Carol got me a food mixer." Wanda says.
"Did we miss anything?" Nat asks as she walks back in, 3 glasses in her hand.
"Nope." I say as she sits down next to me. She hands one of the glasses to me and another to Wanda and keeps the third for herself. Yelena gives Carol a glass.
"Thanks." Carol and Wanda say.
"Thank you." I say as I lean my head on Nat. I take a sip.
"Here you go." Wanda says as she hands me a gift from her. I hand over my one and give Carol hers and take the one she was holding out for me. Nat was opening something from Bruce. I unwrap the gift from Wanda and see a $40 coffee voucher and a walking dead Daryl shirt. I smile brightly at her.
"Thanks Wands." I say. I hug her.
"Mine now!" Carol says. I laugh at her impatiens. I open it and see an eminem poster and a basketball jacket in NYU colors.
"I love it." I say.

An hour or so goes by and everyone has finished opening their presents.
"Do you guys wanna watch something?" Steve asks as he looks around for the TV remote.
"Sure." I say.
"Yeah, I'm down for that." Carol says.
"Alright." Bruce says.
"Yeah, what do you guys wanna watch?" Nat asks.

We talk for a while and decide on watching a muppet Christmas carol. I put the blanket that Nat got for me and drape it over us. She had her arm around me and intertwined her free hand into mine. My head was rested on her chest. I was having a little thumb war with Nat, but she wasn't really trying as she was watching the movie. She kissed my head every now and then.

A/N: I fell on my finger and it really hurts lmao
